Try week 2 and if it's just tooooo challenging repeat week 1 but I think you'll be fine emoticon

Smile .... it makes people wonder what you're up to ;-)

It is far easier to MAKE time to exercise than it is to FIND time to exercise. You want results???? MAKE it happen.

Keep trying - you CAN do it - believe in yourself!

Looking at my computer the temperature is .... 50 degrees. I'm going to take a guess and say it is warmer in Texas. Gray overcast and rained this morning. Fall is in full swing. Running a 5k tomorrow in Farmington Hills 55 is the forecast high. Perfect running weather. Runners add 20 degrees Cyclist subtract 20 and then you get your real temperature.

I see you are from Livonia. I moved from Southfield to Texas in 07. Is it cold there yet?

As I have been sitting here at work all day and in desperate need of fresh air, I think I am going to attempt Week 2, Day 2 outside this evening.

If one week doesn't kill you press on to the next. The next session is a progression. Try to get to week 4 if at all possible. There are plenty of weeks to repeat later on as you build confidence.

Good idea to keep track of speeds and such, I think I will do that as well. I am not up to a incline as of yet. It will be interesting to see how your outside transiion goes.

I completed week 2 day 1 on the treadmill last night(1% incline, 3.6 walk, 4.5 run). What I noticed is that the 5th and 6th runs got easier as opposed to harder. I still want to do one more run on the treadmill before I hit the streets though. I will do that tonight at the gym and will hit the street Sunday.

yeah you! I just finished week 1 today...I am not ready for the streets. I tried before and it hurt my knees a lot more so I figure its best to build those muscles up more on the treadmill and then try the streets. congrats and keep going!

I just finished week 1 myself, and will start week 2 on Sat!

Good luck, and you can do it! If you find week 2 too hard, go back to week one, secure in the knowledge that you tried!
