Hey Team,
I am so sorry I haven't been on here all week... By the time I sign in and read all my posts and post to everyone, I am so busy to sign in here to read what everyone was posting. Crazy life with 2 babies and then watching my sisters 3 yr old daughter and 8 yr old boy. So I don't have much time on here. So I need someone to clarify for me... with weigh-in, are we suppose to do it this morning or Sunday morning?? I am confused and mad but truthfully I fell off the wagon with food and I have a gain probably not just from the food, its also that TOM is visiting, and I always see a difference with my body.. my pants that normally fit, don't fit this week. But I was just wondering if I can still weigh in tomorrow morning... or is it suppose to be today?? Cause I read over the rules and it says between Sat and Sun at noon.. but I thought council goes out on Sat night??? cause I figured if I could weight in tomorrow, maybe I could try my hardest to drop soemthing by then...
Let me know what you all think..

I agree with who ever posted about our team.. I don't know where LIsa_trying is... I sent her a couple private messages this past week because she doesn't have a spark page, but she still weigh-ed in last week and is still apart of the team but I haven't heard from her at all nor see her on the team other then one time at the very beginning.

Hey team, it seems the 2 times I have tracked the goal it did not show up on stats. Anyways, I have had something come up and I am unable to spend time on the computer. I have not been able to track nutrition, fitness, or post comments. I am still eating right and exercising i just cant show it on here. I'm sorry if this causes us to go to council, if it does I understand being eliminated. Thanks green team.

I should be back full time by monday.

If you can find it under "other exercises" such as bicep curls, dumbbell squats, etc... if you click that box it does add minutes. Otherwise I like to see my stuff all in one place so you can choose "circuit training" in the cardio section and count it that way.

Question, do strength traing exercises count towards fitness minutes on sp or only cardio. I did a stability ball workout on Wed and it took about 25 minutes, but it was strength training, not cardio. I am not sure how to log it on my fitness tracker. emoticon

I truly enjoy working out. It takes all my will power to do it, but once I do, I feel fabulous! I also don't lose weight without exercise, so I have to be diligent if I'm serious about losing weight. My problem is I have a hard time doing it in the mornings because my body isn't awake yet and I feel tired faster (probably because my body is working harder trying to wake up). I typically work out on my linch break or in the evenings once my little guy hits the bed.

I hope we all don't have to go to counsel this week. Where do you go to see our team's status?

Regarding council... apparently we have a few people who are on the team in name only... and I hope they remember to weigh in or else they will be automatically eliminated and then we'll have to boot one of us who is actually trying :\

Exercise is my drug of choice at this point - if I do not do it, my day sucks. I knew this week would be hard because my fiance is off work (he's normally working during evenings which is when I fit in my major exercise). So I made the goal to work out every morning. I've gotten up at 5 all week and do between 30-60 minutes and my day is off like a shot. I really recommend trying to wrok out first thing as often as you can.

Hi team! I need to apologize to you all again. I didn't work out yesterday because by the time I was done with our meetings, we all changed and headed out to help feed the displaced people and volunteers in Joplin. By the time we got back to the hotel, I was completely exhausted and just couldn't muster up the motivation to go to the hotel gym. I probably won't have time today either because I'm going to be in meetings all day and then immediately heading out to the airport. I'll try to sneak away for 20 min to walk on the treadmill, but i'll be honest...it probably won't happen. I know there is no excuse, so I'm sorry if I end up causing us to go to counsel again.

I'm really disappointed with myself because I set my alarm to get up early to get a workout in and ended up hitting the snooze button several times. I'm hurting myself by impeding my progress and letting you all down at the same time. So, I'm sorry.

I hope you all have a fabulous day! I see you all are kickin' butt, so keep up the good work!

So a few things... Everything is my biggest downfall! Finding time to be motivated to exercise and eating healthy... Like around that time of the month, I am just a food queen and its normally sweets that is bad.. I don't know how to make it go away, but that week is the worst time of every month... I have a hard time with food, because my mom doesn't understand that it doesn't help having junk food in the house.. She just thinks I need to not eat it.. It doesn't help I am not strong enough to say no to cookies and candy and just randomness... I lost my apartment because I had lost my job, so I had to move back in with my parents.. I have decided to live here until I move back east hopefully by the end of this year.

So I just got the message telling us the challenge was to send 5 messages each day. I didn't know this, so I am planning to count the previous two days because I didn't know this. I hope that is ok. I will definately get on track with 5 each day.
Hope everyone is going strong, very proud that this morning even when I didn't want to, I got up and did sweating to the oldies... Even when I didn't want to! I have alot more energy now. So maybe I won't need that afternoon nap with the kids and will use that time to do another workout!

I need to apologize to you all. I've been trying to post on each of your SP all day and I can't figure it out from my iPhone. I'm really sorry. I'll borrow my boss' iPad in the morning and get something motivated posted. I'm very frustrated I couldn't do it from my phone because I'm committed to this challenge & don't want to let you all down.

Anyway...I hope you all had a fabulous day! The devastation is completely horrible here. Words cannot describe the destruction. But, it is amazing how many volunteers there are here helping out.

Don't forget to get a quick little piece of exercise in. We can do it!

I think the biggest key for me to eat healthy is planning... prepackaging healthy snacks, making batches of hard boiled eggs, cutting veggies and fruit and putting into individual baggies - if it is convenient, I'm more likely to do it.

Have any of you guys seen the yogurt commercial where the girl opens the fridge and there is a cheesecake in there? She is going over the different things she needs to do to have a slice. My husband said that commercial reminded him of me. I don't really have trouble working out 30 to 60 minutes a day. In fact after I get a week in I actually enjoy it. My problem is getting myself to eat healthy and stay away from the junk. I am a very picky eater except for chips and dessert. What do you guys do to keep yourself on track when it comes to eating healthy?

I dont think we've embraced this challenge as vigorously as others have, and I think we should commit to change that RIGHT NOW. If we all do our best, and participate, we won't keep losing members. I had my first weigh in with my personal trainer yesterday. I have lost 13 pounds since Mother's Day, almost 1% body fat, 1.5 inches on my hips, and a whopping 1.5inches on my chest. Needless to say, Husband isn't too please about that. Keep up the good work everyone!

Hey everyone!

Joy, that is so great you're going to Joplin to help out. Such an incredible shame... I dont know what is going on with these crazy storms and things happening in the world... scary stuff.

I had a pretty active day today and it was also good eating wise - which needed to happen since I overindulged at our family picnic yesterday. But, I'm moving onward and upward, working very hard all week so I won't see a gain.

Oh just so you all know with the weigh ins - I'm about 5 lbs from goal and in a very long plateau so I dont anticipate any big losses (OR gains) so if that impacts how voting goes, I will understand. I'd like to say the sheer thought of being eliminated could break my plateau but not too confident of that!

Good afternoon team! I hope everyone is having a great day! I may not get a chance to post the next 3 days as I have to go out of town on business. I just called Curves and I am thinking about signing up again. They talked about the Zumba class 3 days a week. They have one on Wednesday that I might have to check out. I have heard really good things about Zumba,

So haven't heard anything about council yet.. hope everyone is staying strong, can't wait until after nap time so that I can get my zumba on! I am starting to catch on to the steps and just really enjoying it..
Was gone for the weekend but was able to get in some time in the pool. Had some bad news when we got home, and stress didn't help last night. Trying to get my mom on a plane with in 12 hours is quite stressful.. had my moment in the fridge that wasn't good... but happy to say she is where she needs to be to help our family who is mourning.

Stay strong ladies, that is what I told myself this morning, about my emotional, physical and mental well being right now.

I gained a lot this week : ( I am really enjoying this challenge and I hope a lot of the weight gain is from my monthly visitor and will leave when it leaves. I agree about people letting us know about not being committed to the challenge. I noticed that people join our goal but never track it.

I still want to be on the team. That would be great if someone wants to volunteer to not be on the team. Otherwise I think we have to figure out who is not participating, hopefully the next email from Laura will help with that. I am not going to be able to get back online until later tonight. Well guys stay strong through the weekend! I didn't lose :( I actually gained a pound. I was worried about that with strength training because I haven't done it months I have only been doing cardio since starting this journey again. Random rant, look away now if u don't want to hear it. My world is crazy right now! There is so much going on it is hard to compute. First, with 6 month old twins and the price of fuel I'm broke,like stressed everyday to the point that I am sick with worry. I am from Missouri and this disaster in Joplin is wretched so I feel worse that I am stresses about my problems when they have just lost so much. Work is typically good bit when I'm wretching with stress it gardware to focus and do well. I want to eat and blow off the gym. However I shall not! This is a prime time to see if exercise and eating healthy actuary make me feel better. I hate this feeling!

Hey peoples! I haven't been on here in a while. I actually realized the other day that I am only letting myself a certain amount of time each day to get on the computer. Like parents should do with kids, only allowing them an alloted time, yeah thats me with the computer now... I reallized the other night my son just wanted to cuddle with me because I was busy all day, and I am at home with my kids and take it for granted. So this summer I want to get back to the basics.. I use to play with my kids and want to do random things with them and now I feel I only spend time with them when I am putting them to sleep or eating. So i am changing this. I think it will help me to get more active and do what I feel is right, spending more time with my family and not as much time with this screen!
I hope everyone is doing great! Today me and my 8 year old nephew did some strength training, he kind of just played around but I need to get him active, he is probably 70 to 75 pounds and I feel a bit to chunky for his age, he will be with me for the summer and I want to help get him back to being a kid. His family are about video games and I feel he has lost his imagination. I asked him one day what was the 5 most fun things todo and in each answer he somehow put video games into that. They even bought him a Wii, but it probably has an inch of dust on it, cause he doesn't play it. So I want to help him realize the fun of playing like a kid again and hope to get him healthier in the process.

Howdy fellow greenies! Just checking in. I had to doubleup on Monday and do cardio and weight training since I knew I would not get to go on Tuesday. I did weight training again today..good stuff. My favorite part is the stretching &flood exercises. I really wish I could attend a live pilates class. I miss it ... have fun surviving :)

today wasn't a planned off day, but ended to be that... I just had no energy nor want to do anything today.. I did some house cleaning but that was nothing... Hoping I get some more power to do something tomorrow..

Good morning team! I have to say, I'm struggling this week with severe hunger and fatigue. My little guy has been teething and I think he's catching a cold, so he's been a little grumpy. But, i'm pushing thru my desire to eat everything in site and just sit on my butt and do nothing. emoticon

Hey everyone! I will go ahead and share some info that may be TMI, lol... I am doing one challenge that is focusing on eating fruits/veggies this week and I am really laying it on thick with the freggies... which caused BAD GAS lol. I had to pop a Gas-X at work and I was hoping nobody had to stop at my cube for anything until it kicked in. Oh,the joys of getting healthy haha.
