53 seconds?? LOL I'm all for accuracy too; but can't stand having that partial minute hanging around. So I'm proud to report 7 secs of Leg Lifts to even us up. Now I'm off to do some serious Wii time and will be back later to post that.

Also, rounding our bonus time/points down to 2 because we cannot carry over partial hours from one session to the next. So just getting this cleaned up now so we're all ready when we reach Nevada.

GRAMMAMARY - Thank you for putting in so much Golf time. Great effort & 675 is a terrific score! About your question on work as exercise: GRAPHICKAT's rule is that you can count anything that you personally really feel is exercise. For example, the past few days when I was counting housework here, I counted the stuff I did that was really beyond basic cleaning but not the easier stuff. I counted washing walls, vacuuming vigorously (incl. doing some squats at same time), calf raises while washing windows and light fixtures; but did not count dusting, washing dishes, cleaning out drawers, etc. So it is up to you to determine what should count and what does not. Jsut use your best judgement & burn some extra calories at work.

I'm up now and since exercise won't count I will go try some more golf and see if I can keep my swing under control. 800 is going to be very hard to beat but might be able to do it if everything goes right. I've got the direction down pretty well but finding just the right amount of power to put into the swing is still erratic at times. I will be working from 1-8PM

Well, I couldn't beat GRAMMAMARY's score of 675 so I'm going to post that out in the main thread. However, I see that the other team just got an 800. Wow! If any of you are up early and can beat that score before the deadline, please go post that.

You guys did great today on getting those scores up. I thought 675 would be enough to win; it's a very good score

Hello Team Voyagers! Sorry I missed all of Saturday on here with you all. Had great time with my company all day & they wore me out. Sat down at computer around 11PM, read a couple emails & then promptly fell asleep with computer on my lap. LOL Anyway, just woke up and made it over here to check on things. I see a lot went on today.

GRAMMAMARY - welcome to our team! It's nice to see you here and looks like you you're quite the golfer too. Great job on that score! Let me know if you've caught up on how to do this game by reading through the thread or if you have questions.

ARNIECOS - are you having an identity crisis? All that logging in here with your DW's screen name. LOL

AJFAVEGRL - we don't track our exercise time while we're in a challenge, so your DDR hour was a good workout but can't add it here. :-) As soon as the golf challenge is over (at 8:55 AM Sunday) we will start tracking all exercise done after that time.

Good job to all of you on workingon the golfing today! I'm going to get in a few rounds now and see what I can do.

Sheenadee - Thanks for correcting the bonus time. Wasn't exactly sure how that worked. Think I gots it now! :)

Does anyone know which golf course we're supposed to play? There's a beginner, intermediate, expert and 9-hole. I don't usually play a lot of wii golf so I'm not sure.

The Voyagers and the Vagabonds have arrived at the Alamo in San Antonio which is famous for the Texans losing a battle to Mexican General Santa Anna. As part of a battle reenactment you've been invited to participate in a shooting match. Since those of us at Wii Exercise do not use guns you will compete at Wii Golf training target practice. Before the end of 24 hours please post the best score that anyone on your team has been able to achieve. The winning team will deduct 5 hours of exercise from the time required to travel to the next destination. The losing team will add 5 hours of exercise to the time required to travel Nevada.

Your challenge begins at 8:55 a.m. 6/13/09

Voyagers, please figure your bonus exercise between the time you arrived in Texas and when the Vagabonds arrived at 2:36 a.m. and post it on the main thread. Thanks.

emoticon You all did it! Got us to Texas so fast & luckily we're the 3rd to arrive which means we can add to our bonus points until the next team arrives. It's a new day so I put in some Wii time to add in.

In looking through the recent posts, I see a couple things with our time tracking that I corrected & will explain below.

My exercise time:
Total team exercise:
Destination: Hang out in Texas a while
My bonus time: 45 mins
Total team bonus time: 2:25

We cannot carryover travel exercise time into the bonus point calculation, so we have to lose the 6 mins extra that TIME2LIVE_227 exercised. That's not much anyway..cut it close.

LYNNANN43, I included the 1:40 that you posted after we reached Texas because I think your other 1:35 was from earlier in the day. Let me know if I got this wrong.

I have company most of the day Saturday so I will likely not be able to check in again until the evening. Make sure you keep track of what time you exercise so we can figure out how much we can count as bonus points; that is, we can only count time exercised before the next team arrives. Hopefully, they will be a long time getting there. ~ evil grin ~

Introducing myself to this team. My name is ajfavegrl, real name is Heather. I have 2 little boys one who's in a wheelchair full time,4 1/2 years old and the other is 7 months old. Plus i'm a full time college student.

I just noticed a mistake I made on adding yesterday.. the reason I noticed it was because I almost did it again just now so I decided to check and see if I had done it before.. I was adding my numbers straight.. instead of to 60 min for an hour.. so yesterday 6/11 SheenaDee's total at 12:52 was 1:45.. then we had a post from Graphic Kat and then I posted and cheated us out of 40 min.. in my adding.. sorry about that.. so here is a correction post.. hope that makes sense..

Heavy cleaning in basement now. Walls, ceiling. I really dislike cleaning so am soooo happy it burns calories. Plus some workout with weights.

Trying to get in as much time for the cause as I can today as tomorrow I'll have a big block of time where won't be logging on... company here.
