THE ONLY SIDE EFFECT I HAVE FROM THE CANCER DRUG IS MY BODY ITCHES BUT IT IS MILD, GOD IS GOOD AND THANK YOU FOR CONTINUED PRAYER.

THAT IS GOOD NEWS TO HEAR SADIE! I KNOW WHEN MY HUSBAND TOOK THE CHEMO DRUGS HE WAS GIVEN FOR 2 YEARS, THE ONLY SLIGHT PROBLEM HE HAD WAS A LITTLE DIARRHEA. I'M GLAD YOU ARE DOING SO WELL. WILL KEEP PRAYING. LIZ

Praise God Sadie. Its good to know He is laying His hands and peace on you.

, I HAD AN INFUSION YESTERDAY, THIS IS TO STOP THE CANCER CELLS FROM GROWING, IT ONLY TOOK 30 MINUTES, AND AT HOME I AM TAKING TWO PILLS CALLED [LENVIMA] 1 IS 10 MILIGRAMS THE OTHER 4 MILIGRAMS, THIS KILLS THE CANCER CELLS. I WILL HAVE TO DO THE INFUSION EVERY 3 WEEKS, THE PILLS I TAKE DAILY.
WITH GOD WALKING BY MY SIDE AND YOUR PRAYERS I WILL SURVIVE THIS AND THANK YOU LORD STILL NO PAIN.

MY HUSBAND HAD AN APPOINTMENT YESTERDAY WITH HIS PULMONOLOGIST. HIS BREATHING IS DOWN EVEN WITH HIS OXYGEN. SHE THOUGHT HE MIGHT HAVE A LITTLE FLUID ON THE LUNGS. SHE ALSO SAID THE SCARRING ON HIS LUNGS MIGHT HAVE SPREAD. THE LAST THING SHE SAID WAS THE SURGERY FOR HIS BROKEN NECK MAY HAVE AFFECTED THE NERVES TO HIS DIAPHRAGM AND THAT CAN'T BE FIXED. ANYWAY, SHE IS PUTTING IN FOR APPROVAL FROM THE INSURANCE FOR A CT SCAN. HE ALSO LOST WEIGHT. HE EATS JUNK ALL THE TIME SO NOT SURE HOW THAT HAPPENED. JUST PRAYERS THEY FIND THE PROBLEM AND IT'S EASY TO FIX.

ALSO WANTED TO ASK FOR PRAYERS FOR A JOB INTERVIEW I HAVE TOMORROW, 10/24. I HAD APPLIED AND THEY HAD ME DO 4 TESTS ONLINE. THEN THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL ASKING IF I COULD COME IN TOMORROW FOR AN INTERVIEW. IT'S ABOUT AN HOUR OR MORE FROM ME AND IT'S SNOWING RIGHT NOW AND CAUSING ALL KINDS OF ROAD PROBLEMS. SNOW IS SUPPOSED TO STOP IN THE MORNING AFTER WE ARE EXPECTING A FOOT. PRAYERS FOR THE ROADS TO BE CLEAR, MY NERVES TO BE CLEAR AND MY MIND TO BE READY. IT'S MY SON'S BIRTHDAY TOMORROW. HE WILL BE 33. WE ARE GOING TO MEET WITH HIM ON SUNDAY OR MONDAY AS HE HAS PLANS FOR TOMORROW.

CheriAnn So heart breaking for her. Praying she will find comfort in a new relationship with God as she discovers He will never leave her nor desert her.
We can often feel we need to fix it for them but God knows.

I have spent the day among other things , sorting and tossing cloths from my drawers. So good to have time!!!

Awesome Mumsey! Praying we both make good use of the time, and enjoy our new season of life. There is much I want to get sorted in my house, day one of that. I did get my husband's work clothes mended for the last time. He works until the end of October. We have always bought double knee work pants but he manages to wear them through.
Next t project is to sort through pictures and give a lot to my daughter. I am paring down. She will be moving in to a new apartment at the end of the month. Please pray for her, her long time live in boyfriend traded her for a younger woman. She is heartbroken. She started a new job the day before he told her he had someone new.
We are having high tea at my friend's tea room for my birthday Saturday if we can get in.
Pleased pray she returns to the Lord.

My last day today too and it was so nice as i looked the door for the last time knowing I am going to be a full time homemaker spending the days with hubby.

Thank you so much ! I had a wonderful day. Had to press to get what needed to be accomplished done to leave for our lunch, but good training- now she is more aware that she needs to "pre- think" things for the Elders/Pastor. They neglected to ask for Budget Ballots for Sunday, so we had to quickly make those before we left. Had a nice lunch at a very quaint coffeehouse, DH brought me flowers and we went out for steak. Facebook and my phone blew up with well wishes and thank yous for my service. A very good day. Held off on the sweets except for a shared brownie. Tonight my 3 accountability partners/besties are going to Bakers Square for birthday pie. We all spend $25 on each other for our birthdays. I asked for gift cards to frame my cross stitch works as usual. This morning I walk the dog and then sit at the cancer infusion center and tell people about our cancer resource center for a couple hours.

We sound the same!! Friday is my last day. I have worked part-time in our church office for 13 years and retired. They are all a bit worried as to how its going to work with me gone.!!!
The young woman taking over says she is going to do it all from home!!!

Praying for all of your needs. Tomorrow is the big day! My 66th birthday and my last day at work. I told Pastor I was excited but a bit scared, and he said the Elders were scared as well! LOL

LESLIE RANDALL, SHE EXAMINED ME AND TOLD ME IF I MINDED BEING ADMITTED THAT DAY, OF COURSE I TOLD NO I DON'T MIND, HAD SURGERY SEPT. FRIDAY THE 13TH, BUT JESUS WAS WITH ME EVERY STEP OF THE WAY, IT'S A NEW SURGERY CALLED ROBOTIC SURGERY, LESS PAIN, NO CUTTING AND QUICKER HEALING, LOVE IT, THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS.

SADIE, I'M SORRY YOU ARE GOING THROUGH THIS. I HAD A HYSTERECTOMY WHEN I WAS 46. THEY HAD TO CUT ME WITH A BIKINI INCISION. I WAS UP AND AROUND IN NO TIME. NO PAIN. GOD WILL HELP YOU THROUGH THIS. YOU ARE A STRONG LADY AND HAVE BEEN THROUGH A LOT. I KNOW YOU HAVE THE STRENGTH OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THERE FOR ANYONE THAT IS HAVING PROBLEMS. Praise! Flea market wasn't as hard this time. Bursitis was milder..hoping with more exercise I have no issues at Fair in Sept. Hope I do well this Tues-working at National Night Out 4-8.

Prayer Request: Diagnosed on 12/28 with breast cancer. Praising the Lord that it has been detected at a very early stage. I have an appointment with the surgeon on 1/6. Please pray for wisdom for all involved to make the right decisions for treatment.

I GOT MY PRESCRIPTION GLASSES YESTERDAY, NOW I HAVE TO SEE THE SPECIALIST JULY 14TH FOR THE SMALL HOLE IN MY RETINA IN MY LEFT EYE, IT REALLY HAS BEEN A VERY LONG JOURNEY AND HOPE IT WILL END SOON, I STILL HAVE BLURRY VISION B/C OF THE HOLE IN MY RETINA. BUT ONLY IN MY LEFT EYE, I HAVE 20 20 IN MY RIGHT EYE.

Cheri Ann, Will pray for your cousin Sue. My uncle had Esophageal cancer that spread to his stomach. He had been having problems and his doctor told him that PPI's were dangerous and he should not take them. It cost him his life. He kept telling me not to use them. I still do. Will pray they caught it in time and can get rid of it. Liz

Please pray for my cousin Sue...she has Esophageal cancer and starts 5 days of radiation and one day of chemo for 5 weeks starting today....hopefully the cancer will shrink and she will be able to eat, and they will rebuild her esophagus....

I FINALY HAVE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE SPECIALIST FOR THE LITTLE HOLE IN MY LEFT EYE RETINA, IT IS JULY 14TH AT 9:45 AM ON A TUESDAY, THEN WE WILL SEE IF I NEED SURGERY OR PRESCRIPTION GLASSES WILL BE GOOD ENOUGH WITHOUT SURGERY, I HOPE I WON'T NEED SURGERY, IT'S NOT PAINFUL JUST TIME CONSUMING.
