A wonderful walk up the hill with second son today. The woods have grown up there since I walked that hill as a child and so we walked up and down in the shade of the trees but had the lovely warm sun when we reached the top. 2 hours walking today and 45 mins cutting the grass. emoticon

30 minute walk today with 3460 steps on pedometer (I lost the instructions so hopefully I've got it set right, at least it's working). I'm slow, but I haven't walked like this in 3 years.

I put on the old pedometer and walked a beautiful creek-side park trail:about 10,000 steps. Then I gardened. Feeling good!

I went exploring on my bike today and racked up 7 miles.

Then, later in the day I did 40 crunches, 40 crunches with a twist, 30 standing adductions, and 30 seated triceps extensions. Now I think I'll go read in bed!

I did some vacuuming, laundry, cage cleaning, etc.
Then I hopped on the bike and ran errands--6.78 miles. Got home and did 40 crunches, 40 crunches with a twist, 30 standing adductions, and 30 seated triceps extensions. emoticon

Gardening today. 5 hours. Planted the cauliflowers, cut the grass and trimmed the edges, tried to dig out a shrub I cut down last week but gave up. The roots are too big and need a pick axe to cut through them. Too heavy for me. DH can do it! Lots of hoeing and a bit of tidying up.

Weight loss can't be successfully achieved with a magic pill or some other fast results gimmick. It all boils down to a simple math equation: fewer calories in & more calories out = weightloss.

Nothing Tastes As Good As Healthy Feels!
