Newbie here. I ordered a food scale and a new workout dvd today. I am learning how important it is to know what food weighs to get the correct portion amount to be added to my nutrition tracker. I'm loving these great tools on this site and all the encouragement and support from the members. emoticon

Yesterday, even though I was busy with school work I walked a mile on the treadmill (while studying!!)! For the last month or two I haven't been getting much exercise (at all) but this was the second time in about 3 days that I made an attempt to exercise!

Today I'm cooking soup in the slow cooker and loaded it up with veggies! It's beef vegetable soup and normally I just put potatoes, broccoli and corn in for my veggies but today in addition to those I've got peas, carrots and green beans! I'm also hoping to get on the treadmill again, but I have a paper to write and a midterm tonight, so we'll see about that one...

I repotted some plants, planted some I've purchased in the last month, bottled some captured rainwater, pulled some weeds and a lot of other yard work.

And, of course, I recorded this as fitness minutes under "gardening".
