Slow & steady makes a winner of us. Even if we hit pitfalls, get up. Know that a new day is right around the corner.
Try to be all that you can be. Work at it a day at a time.

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a safe and happy holiday season.

I had a terrible ordeal with my pup the Monday evening after Christmas. I came home to find out the she had gotten on the kitchen table and ate a bar of dark chocolate. I wasn't really sure what to do, so I did some research online. Big mistake, if anything happens to your pup, call your vet or emergency vet immediately!

I decided to wait a few and see how she would do (because according to the docs online, the dose she ate was not lethal). Well, at around 3am she started vomiting. I called the ER vet in my area and they told me to bring her in. She had to be transported to a local vet.

Long story short, she needed to stay an extra night because of the level of toxin in her blood.
She pulled through and is doing fine now.

Moral of the story - never hesitate, always call the vet!
