1 PUP your too funny! I finished my first day of training yesterday for my 10k! does that help motivate you? If you want to read more I'm going to try and blog about it today.

JESI_OH! Congrats! I've been thinking I should start doing that but I can't get myself up. I barely get to work some days!

TAMBOURINEDREAM Keep up the good work. I too am training for a 10k. You got to get out there and do some training or your 10k will be rough on you. I'm training through a store called RunningRoom. They offer different clinics for people wanting to achieve different running distances (they also offer it online). It's twice a week for 10 weeks. Yesterday was my first session and I found it really motivating. Maybe there is something like this in your city that could help keep you accountable and get you out there and back on track? Good luck! I will be running my 10K Aug 15!

Gunner: Way to turn up the heat! keep it up, it's worth it! I'm glad you enjoy yoga. I love it too. Especially when its just all about you and feeling calm.

So...didn't quite make my goal...but I did make it past 130 (barely). It is motivation for me to work harder this week to keep losing and not get back up there. Its kind of disappointing because I feel like I've been working for so long to lose such a small amount of weight, but I have to figure, any loss is better than a gain, and remind myself that I'll be more likely to stay at my lower weight the slower it comes off.

CRASHTHEPARTY - Totally know the feeling of getting myself motivated to workout again after slacking off for too long. I've been trying to get myself to start running again after a longer than expected break of a few weeks. Got a 10K at the end of July and haven't done more than the elliptical in terms of cardio since the middle of May. I need to get myself moving!

JESI_OH - I am the same way with working out in the morning. I'm much more likely to stick with it and complete a workout if its the 1st thing I do every day - plus I love how I feel all day after a morning workout. However, in order to have time for a morning work out, I have to get up at 4:20, which is insanely early for me. I manage one or two times a week, but until my work hours change it doesn't happen very often.

Good Early Morning, Ladies!
I am up every morning at 5am. Instead of working out right away, I like to start my housework, loading the dishwasher, starting a load of laundry, sweep and mop, etc. However, I also feel it is more likely for me to complete my exercise routines in the morning. Otherwise, I also tend to make excuses. Yuck! After a depressing weigh-in, I decided to Bring IT this week. I have completed the P90X every day at 9am. After I drop my girls off at Girl Scouts camp, I come straight home and start. I feel so relieved and empowered once I complete my workouts. Therefore, I feel like I get more accomplished.

On to my weekly progress- I feel as though I am doing good! I have completed at least an hour of exercise every day. I have maintained a healthy diet. I have completed much house work. I have spent dear time with my children. My husband and I shared bonding time. I am on a roll! This morning, I weighed myself for the first time since Monday... 113.5. That is a 2.8 lb loss! Once again, I hope I can maintain this number for my official weigh-in on Monday:)

On to my concerns- I am not getting the protein my body needs. I am trying to incorporate more fruits and veggies, which I definitely accomplished this week. Yet, I am 20g shy of meeting my protein goal for yesterday. I hope I am not losing the muscle I am trying to gain. I am still so unsure of my intake. It is difficult for me to find an equal balance, since starting these extreme workouts. I know I need to consume more beans, nuts, dairy products, etc. These items are just out of my "norm."

So, on to today- I am looking forward to morning yoga. I never liked the idea of yoga, until now. For the first time ever, I did a yoga routine last week. It lasted an hour and a half. I loved it! I really didn't expect to be so relaxed. Aside from the kids running around and yelling, I actually got some "me" time. I will have another "me" day today.

I wish everyone a happy "me" day! Take time for yourself, even if just an hour. You all disserve it!

Well I've gotten myself up at 5:40am three times a week for the last fortnight to go for a run before work. I find that if I put it off until after work I'm more likely to find an excuse to cop out. I don't know if that's particularly motivating but seeing as I am so not a morning person it is a little bit of a miracle!

1PUP, I actually managed to motivate myself onto the elliptical today! So the fact that I could get myself moving today should be motivation to everyone, seeing as I've been so far off track it's not even funny. But I did a solid, fast 20 minute program, 5 minute cool down, and 5 minute of an arm work out (I stand in front of the elliptical and use just my arms to move the runners back and forth....it's a REALLY good arm work out and I could hardly do the 5 minutes!). Tomorrow I'm trying to cycle again, but I've been so far behind on doing aerobics, and I think that's why I'm having trouble keeping my calories down. Anyway, everyone should know that if I can manage to get myself to do cardio this week, so can all you guys!!! =)

Haha. I want to clarify that I DO know that posting doesn't aid in weight loss... lol. I am just obsessing. I guess that I just can't believe that I have been trying to lose this weight since January. I did the 30 day shred again tonight with my morning run. It is kicking my butt.

How is everyone's week going? Any results to keep me motivated? Are you doing anything different this week to aid in weight loss?

Gunner, I seriously wish I didnt understand. :D LOL. Vent away. Much better to get it out than let it fester. I am glad you are feeling better and that the husband was able to calm down.

It is SUPER easy to let our stress get the best of our relationships. It is much harder to take time (that you feel like you dont have) to sit and weigh it out... but I figured out that Kev and I NEVER think what the other is thinking we are thinking- if that made sense. We HAVE to do the check in.

This insane year of juggling has really strengthened our relationship and I feel like he is more on my side than I have ever felt before. I just kept thinking, I do not want to get a divorce- what can we do to strengthen our marriage before it gets to that point of no return- and he started to think of our relationship from that perspective and its really helped. I hope your time together goes well.

You are right about the school. Graduating is really the end goal. It sounds like you are in the perfect storm with everything coming together at once and that once the mortgage is taken care of and some of these assignments are in that life will feel more manageable.

No worries. We are here for support. Great job on the workout this morning!

Thank you so much, 1PUP2KIDS! I just needed to vent this morning. I am already feeling so much better after a really exciting workout this morning. I was able to calm my husband some. He and I already scheduled some time for this evening to discuss both his and my stressful times. Hopefully, we will both listen to one another and understand the others' concerns. I know things will work itself out. The road is just difficult to travel at times. I need to focus on my destination.

As for the homework, I am able to turn the assignments up to four days late. However, I receive a 10% point loss each day. I have managed to keep all A's and B's throughout schooling until now. I think I am about at the C mark in my final class:( I am just being too hard on myself. I have a lot on my plate. Of course my grades will not be perfect all the time. I think I just need to do the best I can, and accept the fact that I will not be able to master all my feats. It's graduating that matters!

Anyway, enough of my troubles. I am sorry to have bothered all of you. I am so excited I completed Day 10. Instead of a rest day this weekend, I will be bringing IT on Sunday to make up for lost time! Wish me luck!

Gunner- I completely understand having more on your plate than manageable... and what that does to home life. Home stress is the worst because than you don't have a haven to escape to. Deep breaths and focus on one thing at a time. Can you get extensions on the late homework? Some times just know its ok to turn it in late makes life feel more manageable. Things felt pretty bad with my husband and I when life was super chaotic and just setting up a time to talk about what was stressing us really helped us bond and problem solve together. These rough times can be an opportunity to be a stronger couple.

I am so happy to see everyone meeting their goals; and those who aren't are staying positive. I am sad to say I didn't complete the Day 9 P90X. There have been a lot of issues on the homefront, including refinancing our current mortgage, hubby's dissatisfaction with his job, my late homework assignment postings, which leads to me and my husband's relationship. This stress is driving me down. Yesterday, I ate terrible for lunch. On the up side, I spent the day focussing on my kids. They were all so happy and we were able to bond. On to Day 10 with hopes of meeting my goals:)

Keep up the great work everyone!

Crashtheparty- Super motivating!!! Size 4! I am dying to get into my 6/7s... Keep up the good work!!

AmmieSmiles- I am glad you are back. I was getting worried. How sweet for the boy toy to give you diamonds! Mine wont even buy flowers anymore- he says "I told you to buy flowers (plants) so you can have them all the time." LOL.

So, I just finished day 1 of level 2 on the 30 day shred and YIKES! It kicked my butt. I couldnt finish the last set of arm raises... WOW. If this doesnt kick my weight loss into high gear, I dont know what will! I am hoping my run tomorrow isnt too painful after shredding...

Hey everyone, I'm sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I have been reading! Promise! I just have been have a hard few days at work and been feeling pretty crummy. My temp job I've been working for 5 months is going permanent salary which is great! but now I have to write my own job description which is harder than it sounds :S Spent the weekend with my man, who btw has great taste in diamonds! He randomly bought me a diamond necklace/earrings! Thought I was going to die!

Anyways thanks to Gunner and 1pup2kids for checking up on me. It reminded me that I not only have a commitment to myself but to you all as well! Thanks so much ladies!

On Gunners encouragement I signed myself up for a running clinic. 10 weeks training to run my first 10k! Figured I needed a new goal to keep me going. This ones going to be tough which is what I need to keep me heading in the right direction and not back to my lays chips... yummm lays... Thanks everyone!

So I haven't been keeping up at all and I've gained 2 pounds back. However, yesterday was on track, and today looks to be on track. But some good news! I was looking for something to wear and I randomly picked up my mom's pair of size 4 jeans and put them on as a joke...and they FIT. Sure, they are a little tight, but they button and don't squeeze too tight, and I don't think I've fit in a size 4 anything since I was 11 (I'm 5'6''/5'7'' athletic build with huge muscular thighs by the way) so I'm SO EXCITED! It was just what I needed, especially since I was feeling tempted by the chocolate in the kitchen!

Way to go tamborine! It is no easy feat to get up early when you dont have to, especially while traveling.

Great job on fitting all the excercise in, NikkiAmber! WOW

Mbicking, I can totaly relate to stressful times. Make sure you are getting enough rest so you dont get sick. Also, make sure you are setting (or resetting) realistic goals so you don't get discouraged (or hurt). I hope things calm down quickly!

Gunner, you are upset because you want OBSERVABLE results that you can truly measure. It's perfectly natural to desire that. And you are doing well.......very well. Keep at it!

Hello, All-
I am a bit perturbed by the whole "scale" thing. During the week, I manage to show losses. Yet, when it comes to weigh-in day, I have to record numbers I am not so happy with. This seems to happen each and every week. Yesterday, I weighed in at 116.3. This morning, I weighed in at 115.3. What is up with that? It could be that I don't eat as well over the weekend. It could be that I don't always work out on Sundays. It could be that I lose motivation, because my workout buddy and I don't get together on the weekends. Whatever the case may be, I need to quit fretting over the numbers. The scale is nothing. No one sees the numbers when they look at me. They see a thin girl, who has been working her butt off for the last 3 months. They see a skinny woman who can finally run and play with her kids. They see a healthy person who is living life. This is the results I wanted from the beginning. Why do I keep wanting more? Am I being selfish? Am I obsessing over this new lifestyle? Am I being too hard on myself. While I am finally smaller and more healthy, I should be happy. Why am I always depressed by my weigh-ins, my measurements, and my failures? I am through with this!!!

My goals went something like this:
Goal/ Actual
June 1- 116.6
8- 113/ 116.3
15- 111/
22- 110/
29- maintain 110!!!

So, I am a bit behind schedule:P I guess I am going to have to kick it up a notch. I can do this!

NIKKIAMBER: While I was upset after my weigh-in yesterday morning, I was so ecstatic during my 8th day of P90X. I noticed a huge difference in the amount of reps I was able to do yesterday versus the first week. I certainly feel stronger. I also participate in the P90X spark team, and have noticed the same as you. I need to be a bit more patient. The results will come. Great job on your success thus far! We are Xers baby!!!

Wow! I missed alot of activity this weekend! Congrats to Mbicking, Jes-i-oh, Mak, Liztopher, Tambourinedream and Gunner on the reported losses! Good job! Gunner, I started week 2 of the X today. I was also disappointed with the results my first week, but I also participate in the p90X BRing it team here on sparks and I noticed most people started reporting losses after week 2 or 3. SO lets not get frustrated yet!

Zuzmajka - Don't get discouraged! I totally know what it feels like to work hard and still gain. I noticed that I can work out all I want but when I make meal choices, it completely wips out the hard work I put in! Ok my goal is also to report EVEYTHING this week, especially on the weekend where things fall to pieces.

Jesioh - congrats on being back in the 130's! I too feel as though my stay here is not secure until I hit the mid 130's and those weekly fluctuations don't hit the 140's anymore! SO Good Luck!

1pup2kids - I know you are working hard and the weight WILL come off! I'm not going to pretend to know why our bodies do the things they do (I weighed myself yesterday and apparently I up 5 pounds!) but what I do know is that our bodies are constantly changing and that as long as you are doing the right things, then it will eventually pay off!

As for me, yesterday the scale said I was 144. I was extremely active this weekend and pushed myself super hard everyday - Friday was p90x legs and back with a 60 min. mountain bike ride in the evening. Sat. was kenpox, and Sunday I had my muddybuddy race and finished in 58 min! But I also had a girls night Friday, an all day bachlorette party on Saturday and a graduation bbq on Sunday. Basically calories were not in my vocab this weekend. I am hoping that the weigh in was mostly water weight as I tend to retain water when I drink alcohol. Hopefully by Friday, I can once again at least be under the 140's!

CW: 8/24 - 134
GW: 12/1 - 120

132 - This will be my lowest weight since 2004 - I will try on my old jeans :)

129 - Once I FINALLY break the 120's, I will indulge in a SPA DAY!!!

125 - New clothes because everything I own will surely be too big!

Way to go Mak and Jesi-Oh!!! Any loss is a good loss and 4 lbs is a lot!

Today is my weigh in. I am SOOOO sad. I am really trying hard. I was up to 155 with my TOM. TOM is nearly over and I weighed in today at 154. I am going UP by 2lbs a week! YIKES. I was sure that once life slowed down I would start losing like I did in January... and with all the activity last week, I was SURE there would be a loss. I am just going to have to hit it extra hard.

This weeks plan: Today, I ran and did 30 day shred. Tomorrow and Wednesday, I am running, walking and doing the shred. Thursday, I am going to go to the gym and running. Friday I am doing another full day off digging and hauling dirt. Saturday, aerobics and pilates. Sunday, gym and run.

I am going to try my hardest to make better food choices... I HAVE to have a loss this week. HAVE to. I am so desparate.

6/1 goal 150 = 152 :/ No loss
6/8 goal 148 = 154 :( Up 2 lbs
6/15 goal 146
6/22 goal 144
6/29 goal 142
7/6 goal 140 = celebrate with a massage!
7/13 goal 138
7/20 goal 136
7/27 goal 134
8/3 goal 132
8/10 goal 130 = celebrate with massage!!!
8/17 goal 128
8/24 goal 126
8/31 goal 124 = Buy victory outfit!!!

Hi Everyone! Well I'm not meeting my original goals at this stage but I am really pleased that I managed to lose a pound this week, especially considering I had shin splints and went camping (which involved LOTS of eating and drinking, but also some long walks).

So I'm going to ease back into running this week and do an extra kickboxing session and hopefully I'll be firmly back on track next week. I'm hoping to move more convincingly into the 130's so wish me luck!

Isn't it always like that with drinking? I find that sometimes, even if I only have a few drinks, I'll wake up the next day wanting to eat more - needless to say its not pretty on the occasions I overindulge...

Reporting back today on my weekend - even though I won't officially weigh in until ThursdayÖ
I went out of town, which involved a long drive Friday night. I was tired, but I managed to wake up early on Saturday to use the hotel's "gym" facilities. I was pretty proud of myself for that one because typically I'd be the one to sleep in as long as possible.

Other than that, I struggled a little bit with the food situation Ė but I think with all the activity I got in during the day on Saturday, and the fact that I didnít make the most horrible choices, I should be on track.

I went on a 3 mile walk when I got home yesterday evening and Iím pretty tired overall, but I want to try to get in at least a short run this afternoon. I know Iím going to have to really step up/ stick with the exercise if I want to reach my goal this week.

Yay, made my first goal! Though the rest of the weekend was a bit of a mess. Lot of drinking on Saturday night which then derailed me for Sunday too. I also had some slight personal stress which definitely affected my eating. I felt like I wanted to keep munching all day Saturday and Sunday. I need to stop doing that! Goal this week is to eat around 1500 every day and work out 4 times. Good luck to everyone.

Good Morning Everyone! I'm sorry to hear a few of you haven't been having a good day/week. Hopefully this week coming up will be a good one for all of us! This past week I lost an astonishing 4 lbs!!! I can't even believe it, although I did eat very healthy and exercise daily. I'm so proud of myself I just hope I can stick with it. I tend to do well in the beginning and then slack off. Reading all the posts here definitely keeps me motivated.

I won't be weighing in next week because I leave for Italy for 10 days on Thursday. I'm super excited to go but really nervous about all the delicious food choices. I'm going to try things in moderation, or that is my plan anyway haha. I'm going on a tour of 5 cities and a lot of walking is involved so hopefully that will balance out their world renown cuisine. Keep up the good work everyone! =)

Hello, everyone! I originally thought this early Monday post was going to be a positive one. However, I woke up to depression:(

I busted my butt this past week with the P90X. Yet, I am only down .3 lb. My muscle mass is the same; water weight... the same; fat percent... the same. What happened? I ate really well this past week. So, that couldn't have hurt my efforts. I am not sure what is going on??? I can feel all of my muscles burning. I can feel the soreness all over my body. I know I have to be doing something. I am going vamp even more in my blog. I'll check back again when I have something more positive to say. Sorry for the lack of drive this morning.

OK, so I weighed in this AM and it wasn't good (as I expected), but on the plus side, it is my TOM, so I'm not extremely depressed about it. Due to that, I am not going to readjust my goals until next week since I tend to lose a bunch during this week of the month. I'm also not going to readjust since I have a new motivation: I'm going to DISNEYWORLD with my hubby at the end of the month. Read my blog within the next day to find out the motivational factor of that little tidbit.

Anyways, I did imbibe just a "bit" (Ok, a lot) this weekend, but it was tons of fun with someone I don't get a lot of face time with, so I'm ok with it. Time to buckle down now, tho.

NIKKIAMBER: Now you've intrigued me with the P90X. Maybe that will have to be a "reward" for me somewhere down the line. It's time for me to revamp my plan anyways. Maybe once I get back to 147lbs or so. Will have to think about it. Awesome to hear it's working you to the bone! ;p

I accidently stumbled acrossed those 'splenda with fiber' packets at the office. I used them in my waterbottle that I have been sucking down fresh lemonade in. I notice after I drank half (over time) I had a fullness and even skipped my afternoon trip to the vending machine for chocolate. I am going to start using these on a daily basis to curb my apettite. Fiber also keeps your sugar level stable. Which is really important if you want to lose weight.

Wow this thread was busy!! Way to stay accountable everyone! Even though we aren't meeting all of our goals, at least we are trying and are being truthful. To those who are meeting goals, CONGRATULATIONS! And thanks for inspiring the rest of us. I am SOOOOO jealous when I see pounds lost reported. I hope to be there soon. Please keep inspiring me!

Gunner, it is true, I am SOOOO thankful not to be pregnant- a February due date would really be THE WORST timing- I wouldnt even get to start spring semester! The cramping and bloating really doesnt seem so bad in perspective. I REALLY want to graduate in May!

I am up to 155- 3lbs up now... (Hopefully, it will be down by weigh in on Mon) But I swear, I have been eating healthy and spark people says I burned 1500 calories yesterday during my 12 hours of "gardening." I had to have burned more because I wasnt just gardening, I was digging, hauling dirt, lifting GIANT bricks... It was not just digging a little hole and planting plants or pulling a few weeds. I can not wait for those days, lol. I am soooo sore and have 2 more days of this to go...

To those of you who want to landscape your house, I beg you, do not use rock to landscape. It will only cause pain later for you or the people who buy your house later.

Anyway, I hope you all have a super weekend. When those cravings are making you crazy, think to yourself- 1 is this worth the calories? Do I want to do the extra excercise to make this break even? Or imagine someone taking the food and super gluing it to your butt... is it worth it? Imagining it stuck directly to my butt has definately stopped me from eating this I didnt really need to eat or drink. Good luck and have a super weekend!!!!

Hello, everyone-
I am trying to drink my last 20oz. bottle of water before I turn in for the night.

MBICKING: It is always nice for people you haven't seen in a while to notice all your hard work. I am anticipating my well toned and healthy aunt and uncle coming to town next weekend. I have one more week to pump it up... or BRING IT! Way to go!

NIKKIAMBER: This is my first week on the P90X program, and they are definitely tough. I am especially doing well keeping up; although I am not in the best of shape. However, I know this is the program for me. I love working all of those muscles, and the definition will be such a wonderful view. Thanks for the snack tips, and take care of your strain!

REDSHIKARI: Congrats on your loss! That is a wonderful accomplishment! Now, aren't you glad you went to the meeting, even in the rain? McDonald's is not the best of choices, but it is so tempting sometimes. I hope you enjoyed it... Now, let's get back to work next week!

ANDREA40925: It's okay to fall sometimes. That is how we learn the right ways. In your case, you now have an understanding of what you need to do and not do. So, let's join this force together. Good luck!

KHARAHLYN: Live for today! While you may not have made it to where you wanted to be, you are making an outstanding attempt. Keep your goals in mind when those temptations start to eat at you. Resisting those temptations are so rewarding and make you so much more confident about your personal control. Enjoy that tailgate and concert. Lord knows, my husband would be so jealous of you! His CDs are the only ones allowed on his boat. Don't get me wrong, Kenny is a wonderful artist. However, I am sure to hear much more than I really want to of him this summer. I am going to have to invest in an IPOD:)

SUZERE: Hey girl! You had a wonderful vacation! And that's all that matters. Although you have to pay for your choices now, you will be able to reconquer those prior results. You are extremely inspiring to me. Hang in there. My workout buddy and I were just talking about this same subject yesterday. She was remembering when we first started the regular P90 videos. We were huffing and puffing and couldn't get through the entire 30 minute DVDs. LOL! Now, we are hanging in there for hour long workouts! So I told her to remember that moment yesterday, because we will be looking back and laughing at those times we weren't able to do chin ups and pull ups. Boy, I can't wait until those times.

Happy Weekend, you all!

Hi all,

I haven't checked in recently, but have been reading everyone's posts. It keeps me going. I went out of town and was not able to wiegh-in on Monday. I checked today and I was at 128.0. Down, but preaty far from Monday's goal of 126.5. It would be great to get down to 127.5 by Monday, but unlikely considering how much I ate today and that I'm about to out for drinks. I am really happy that I didn't gain on my trip because I went out to eat a lot. I ran 3 out of the 5 days, which I'm sure helped a lot. Its great that I've worked myself up to running because it makes it easier to work out away from home and the gym. It was also motivating because I was visiting people I hadn't seen since Christmas and they all noticed that I had lost weight and said that I was looking great! I can't wait until I can be in the mid- 120's so I can feel secure that I won't be returning to the 130's! I'll post again on Monday when I weigh in.

I am up a whole pound and bummed. I know I ate crap in SD, but I have been working sooo hard this week that I am very disappointed. Bright side, it's only a pound and I am still in the 130's - barely hanging by a thread! If I just breathe it will move to 140!

Anywho, Kharalyn - My entire body is sore and I swear I have been it by a truck - the p90x truck that is! As Gunner and Suzure can attest to these videos are NO JOKE! Even though I do weight training 3 days a week and cardio 3 days a week, I am using muscles I did not even know about! And as Gunner said, my muscles are definitely "confused!" Oh and have a blast at the concert!

Gunner - Day 4 was my first yoga workout ever and I really enjoyed it. Probably more so because in every position we did it stretched an area of my body that needed it! Today was legs and back - I really need to work on my pull up form becasue I starined my neck trying to reach over the bar! Have a safe trip and my current favorite munchie is Popchips in the vinegar salt flavor...only 120 cal. for 20 chips emoticon

1pup2kids - I sooo needed a day to rest. If my work wasn't piled so high then I would have taken a day to sleep or at least veg - mius the munchies of course!

Tambourine dream - good luck on reaching under 130! I know you can do it!

Suzure - I'm sure the vaca weight will come off in no time! Are you returning to the p90x workouts? Like Redshikari I am going on vaca in a few weeks. I am actually getting it into my head that I will utilize the Cruise's gym and track but won't be as concerned with calories...but I know its still a slippery slope!

Redshikari - Congrats on the loss and way to go to yur meeting despite the rain! Only 23 more days till cruise time baby!

Everyone have an active and safe weekend!

I just dragged myself out to Weight Watchers in the rain - no fun! But I did lose another pound this week, which I'm proud of. And I'm only .1 pounds shy of my goal for this week. Hoping to do even better this week!! Keep it up everyone! We might falter (like me eating McDonald's right now) but we get back up on that horse and keep going!

Sounds like lots of us have had some challenges this week.

So I had a hunch I wouldn't achieve my 147 goal this week, and I was right. It was even worse than I thought: a 1.5 lb gain! I'd like to be back at 148 by next Friday. I'm tweaking my future goals too based on this gain.

May 29: actual=148
June 5: goal=147. Actual=149.5. :(
June 12: goal=148
June 19: goal=147

July 24: goal=142
July 31: goal=141
August 7: goal=140
August 14: goal=139
August 21 (bridesmaid weekend): goal=139

I checked Netflix and no, they do not have P90X. :(

I am not looking forward to my weigh-in on Monday. This has NOT been a good week......and then there's a Kenny Chesney concert tomorrow, and we're tailgating beforehand......... Tailgating with some awesome alcohol. I have no idea what I'm gonna weigh on Monday.

suzere - it happens to the best of us. I'm going on a cruise in three weeks and as hard as I'll try, I know I'll probably go up a little. Unlimited soft serve is just too irresistable to me! hehe.

Hey girls!! I am weighing in a day early because I am going out of town for the weekend. Let me just say that my first official weigh-in since returning from vacation did not go well at all. I am up 3.6 lbs from where I was when I left. Very depressing, especially since I have been working my tail off. Guess I just ate way too much on vacation...oh well...lesson learned. Note to self: Do not think you can eat whatever you want on vacation and quickly burn it off after vacation. Okay, okay, enough whining from me. I have tweaked my goals a little to account for the gain. emoticon

I hope everyone has a better weigh-in than I did. Good luck!!

Yay! Congratulations 1PUP2KIDS on your TOM! I know we hate the dreaded time of the month; but when we become scared of the "P" word, everything is really put into perspective. As for the two pounds, it's probably just water weight, as usual. TOM does some nasty things to our bodies. But when TOM is gone, so is that extra weight. Great job on your exercise week, and hang in there. Your efforts will definitely show!

I am not sure it Netflix carries the P90X; but that might be something to check into:) I am still hanging in there and loving every minute of it!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! I am headed to Tuscaloosa, AL to pick up my step daughter for the summer. It's about a 12 hour round trip. So, I will be sure to pack me some snacks for the ride.

Its never too late to join. :D Welcome!

Well, TOM is here. Praise The Lord!!!!! It brought 2 lbs with it, but I am WAY over my excercise for this week and my entire weekend is going to be hauling dirt. We got 4 yards today... and chasing 6 ten-twelve year old boys around. (yes, 6 of them!) There is no way I could have REALLY gained. Hopefully, I will be down again for my weigh in on Monday.

I hope everyone has a healthy weekend!

I meant to keep up with the posts, but I stopped getting notifications - seems like I missed some activity. I'll have to remember to keep checking periodically during the week...

I finished my first week with my Thursday morning weigh-in at 130.6, which is close to my 130 goal. I had a little rough last weekend, but shaped up during the week, which seems to have paid off.

I'm going away this weekend, bringing my running stuff - so that I'll be able to get at least some exercise in.

128 for next week seems like a lofty goal to me - probably because I haven't seen the 120's in about 2 years.

Does anyone know if Netflix has P90X?

Great job on keeping on track for the week ladies! I have been doing pretty good. I did not exercise yesterday because I was soooo exhausted. I actually called into work and slept for 5 hours and was ready for bed again at 10:30. :/ I am really dragging- TOM is not here yet, gosh, I better not be pregnant, lol.
