Short People Problems - for Grins and Giggles

I'm so short that a cocktail umbrella is my beach umbrella.

I’m so short a spool of thread is my coffee table!

I'm so small I rode Barbie's Power Wheels!

I’m so tiny I had to borrow my Barbie Doll’s shoes!

She's so tiny a soup bowl is her pool.

She’s so tiny a teacup is her hot tub.

Cute story, STAR!

I'll start copying some phrases made by a newscaster who enjoys kidding his co-worker on a show called "The Five." He is short and funny, too. He makes comments about Dana Purino:
"She skis on a tongue depressor." Everyday is a new joke...we all crack up.

Then there are those who use you as a Chin rest ...

The second X and I were at a Sci-fi convention. There was a lady in costume who was 6 foot tall in her stocking feet, and she was wearing stilettos!
At some point in the conversation, he said, " She makes a good Chin rest!"
She looked Down on my 6 foot X, and said, "So Do You!"

I have never forgotten this, and wherever she is, she is, unbeknownst to her, still my friend!!!

LOL I am also one who climbs shelves in the grocery store to get items! Too funny! I also relate to Short People Problems #23, #45, and #197!! Oh heck, of course I relate to all of them! But I am 4'11" and my first husband was 6'4" and he loved to dance!

Short People Problem #241

Moving the seat of the stationary bike all the way up at the gym, but then your knees hit the display!

I have regularly climbed up the shelves to get items. I do not even bother looking to see if anyone is nearby, i do not care if they see me.

I will also just be jumping in the middle of the aisle trying to see if the thing I want is pushed back or something before i start the climb.
I have had tall people walk buy, grab something and hand it to be before I got enough jumping height to see if it was up there.

Ahaha, I've been known to use something like a box of spaghetti to knock what I actually want off the top shelf at the grocery store. Glad I'm not the only one!

OMG: I laughed my butt off at these; they are all so true. My biggest problem is reaching things at the supermarket. They put all the best stuff on the top shelf. So I always look around to see if there is a "friendly looking" tall person around (which is extremely rare), second thought: does this bottom shelf look like it can support my weight?, third thought, what other items are around that i could use to nudge the item off the shelf...then I have to try to catch it before it comes tumbling down on my head, lol....

I find petite sizes at JCPenney, Kohl's, Belk, Coldwater Creek...
If it's petite, I am usually going to be able to use it. Sometimes active wear is labeled "Short."

I can certainly relate to many of these "problems". For me, the biggest problem is finding clothes in Petite sizes!

Little Lady and Propman...I so hear you!!! Both actions have happened to me!

One thing I have to say...back in 2012 a few Retail establishments...Banana Republic and drat! Can't think of the other store BOTH stopped carrying Petite sizes...I'll jump back in to outline next time. Anyway they both now have brought back those sizes.

Also I got a Catalog from a clothing company that features clothing WITH PETITE sizes for those of us over age 55. I hesitate to reveal until I actually purchase from them. I have this affection for the fabric called MODAL which is much like rayon and feels like silk. The Catalog has cotton/polyester blends which is not my favorites.

I went shopping and bought 2 new pair of capri...they are down to my ankles!!!!! Hey, aren't they suppose to be short?????

Short People Problem # whatever...when no matter where you sit/stand you can't see what's happening.

Short People Problem #159--You're actually surprised when people guess your age correctly!

Short People Problem #194 - When you have to jump to see something since all the tall people are standing front of it!

SHORT PEOPLE PROBLEM #197...Gaining one pound and it's instantly showing everywhere!

Short People Problem #166 -- Always having to sit in the middle seat of a full car because you are the "smallest."

Short People Problem #45 --Your feet dangle or do not completely touch the floor when you sit all the way back in most chairs!

Short People Problem #242 ---Having to hem every single pair of pants you own!

Short People Problem #80--Having to run to keep at the same pace as an average person walking normally.

Short People Problem #23 - - Having to jump onto the kitchen counter to get something out of the cabinets.

Short People Problem #25--Some public toilets are too high for you to squat over!

Short People Problem #253***When your friends drop something and they ask you to get it because you're closer to the ground!

Short people problem #256 *** When you have heard all the short people jokes but people tell you them anyway.

Short People Problem #58 ***Dancing with anyone taller than 5'5" is awkward because of the height difference!

Short People Problem# 225***When you do something and people go "AWWW!, that was so cute" and pat you on the head!

Short People Problems #3 ***People stealing your stuff and holding it over your head where you can't reach it!

Short People Problem #176 - When the sun visor doesn't even help when you're driving because you're too short!
