Hi everyone! I will be starting the Couch to 5K plan in about two weeks. I did it before and running actually became addictive, kind of zen. I don't know why I ever stopped. But I did and now I need to build up a little muscle strength and endurance with walking and light weights, but then I'll be running right along with you. Good luck!

I'm actually starting this program this week. I'll be a bit behind you, but I'll know what you are going through! We can make. (p.s. I also hate running with a passion, so here's to hoping it will change our minds!)

Hey there everyone. My name is Regina. I am joining the Navy and I also HATE running but I gotta do that 1.5 mile run. I have been doing everything else that I need to pass my pt test but running has been the hardest to start (especially because I'm in Chicago and there is still snow on the ground), I will try this though. I hope I can stick to it.

I'm on this team as well. I had just finished week one today and am looking forward for week two! I am planning to run a 5K in the next month or two. I need to start running two miles again and, of course lose weight. But, this program will definitely get you into running no matter what level you are at. Good luck on your journey!

I am not a runner. If fact I hate it. But obviously with the military this is an activity I need to learn to enjoy or at least tolerate. So for anyone else who would like to join me I will be following the couch to 5k running plan.

WEEK 1 - 20 minute interval training
Day 1 - 5 min walk, 2 min jog, 5 min walk
Day 2 - relax
Day 3 - 5 min walk, 2 min jog, 5 min walk
Day 4 - relax
Day 5 - 5 min walk, 3 min jog, 5 min walk
Day 6 -relax
Day 7 -relax
