I am sure lots of us feel like we just don't want to move from time to time...I have noticed that when I make myself get up and get going, within ten minutes of working out I already feel better. I have never regretted a work out. I have never felt guilty for working out. I have never felt bad after I worked out. If anything I feel proud, and strong. And every day gets better and better! Take the first step and you will push yourself an entire mile in no time!

Commit TO 25 MINUTES A DAY. Takes 21 days to form a habit, do that for 21 days, and see if you don't have a change of heart!!!

Biggest problem for me was starting. I love to workout once I get started but motivating myself was a big problem. First, you have to make yourself a priority, schedule your workout just like a doctors appointment and try to keep it. Sometimes it is easier to do something that is scheduled. Also, just give yourself 5 minutes at a time and most of the time if you are already working out for 5 minutes, try to go to 10, then 15, and so on. Usually, you will get so into the exercise (as long as it is some form you enjoy) that soon you won't even notice the time. Hope this helps.Have a great day!

When I don't want to exercise, I think of my goal. Even if I don't go to the gym I clean the house, do some exercise while watching TV, even if it is just 10 mins. Once I get started, I start feeling better about working out. You can do this, we all can.

What is working for me - buddies that I am accountable to and for. I do not have the discipline to do it on my own. My weight loss friends and I keep each other going. They are my spark! If I don't feel like getting my fitness minutes, I will show up anyway, because I know they will be there- for a walk, zumba, DVD, etc. Once I'm there, I really get into it and its fun ( I thought I would never say this!) The funny thing is, once you lose even just a little, inches or lbs., you get more energy and you WANT to keep on going and then your on your way! Hang in there! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

first of all don't argue with yourself. Tell yourself I am going to work out and put one foot in front of the other and do it. no one can motivate you to excercise, it has to come from you. You have to tell yourself you deserve to be the woman you want to be.

Maybe you need to find some activities you enjoy. You can work out in the gym but if you hate it, you might not continue to do it.

Been there before. Not that long ago. The best advice I got was to just get up and do something. Motivation will come back, with movement. It sounds kind of backwards, but it does work.

Besides, this is just a test. To see how comitted you are to this journey. Are you worth the effort to loose the weight? Or are you going to hit this challenge and give up. You are not beaten until you stop trying.

Get out there and do something. GIve yourself permission to stop after 10minutes if you absolutely hate it. You might find you actually enjoy it and feel better. Might even get a full workout in after all.

Personally, on days like this, the hardest part is getting ready and getting started.

No matter what you do today, the time will pass you by. You will never have it back. Do you want to look back and regret letting that time pass, or do you want to look back and say, I did all I could to reach my goals. I made productive use of that time. I have nothing to regret.

I retain weight around my belly as well, however there is no real way to target that area specifically. I like doing interval workouts but any cardio will help reduce the overall percentage of body fat and believe me it does come off eventually! As for the not having the energy to workout I would take a look at what you're eating. I found that when I get really low energy it is because I am either not eating enough or not eating enough of the right stuff. Good luck! emoticon

I don't have very much energy to workout. I want to because I did not lose any weight this week. I need a lot of motivation to get up and workout. I have a lot of belly fat and need some ideas on how to get rid of it....
