I'm up for just jumping in and striking up a conversation. They maybe from a running group or just other runners who appreciate a running buddy. At the very least they may know of other runners groups near by.....and from my experience, most runners are a friendly lot.

check with your local running store, look into meetup.com for groups in your area, or yes, just lace up and jump in when they go by! ;)

Anyone have any ideas how I could find a running partner or group? I work with a lot of runners but they don't love nearby. I see groups running near my house but stopping them seems rude! But they look like they're having fun!
