Coupons.com, Coupon Mom (the free one) , Betty Crocker and Pillsbury are all sites that offer good weekly coupons you can print.I never ever pay for anything one I just do not have the money and two well I always have seen the same thing later for free after I see it offered for pay. That worth having is worth digging and finding for free LOL

I see a lot of ebooks offering to share secrets with you to save all this money if you pay them they will tell you how. Save your money
the ones i have read all state common sense things about coupons and using on sale days and that type thing
However Please take into consideration when moving and shopping at all these stores chasing down sales that if you go to a lot of stores You are using gas and well if that gas is 3.00 a gallon and you go too far it does not end up saving a lot.
Now getting the shopping done in a buddy system where you save gas together There is a good plan.
Also planning your menu and shopping and coupons through watching the coupons that are given weekly in Sunday paper.
If you watch for a month you will be able to quickly determine which stores will have what on what weeks for sale.
It has gotten really easy for me after one month of watching i know that the coupons I get in the Sunday paper those items will also be on sale at my store of preference in 2 to 3 weeks from the Sunday they come out. So I gather my coupons and plan my meals two weeks in advance because when i shop in two weeks there will be sales on those things i got coupons for.
Knowing little things like that can help you plan your shopping and take advantage of sales and coupons together and save more. Also stores take turns one will have the boneless chicken breast this week and the next will have it the next week etc etc

Oh and signing up for places that offer freebies can help as can survey places
i am careful as to the ones I join I have been with the ones i am with for many years

My points.com is one I enjoy being a member of because even if i do not shop clicking emails gets me 5 points and by Oct each year i can get two to 4 gift cards of 20 to 50.00 each to give to my kids at Christmas.
Also VocalPoint.com they send me OODLES of coupons and samples.
Startsampling also sends good things They have a good message board too
Greenfieldonline does surveys and i have made some money from them. not a lot but every few months 50.00 or so.
Deal Of the Day is a good place for finding coupons freebies and such

For coupons and free samples you can google someting like "free coupons" or "free samples" as I am sure they have these sites in other countries.

For money advise try Dave Ramsey. He has a show on Fox Business Network, several books, etc.

I found another useful website on freebies, coupons and various categories from animal/pets to sports. If you sign up for their newsletter you get new daily freebies.

heyitsfree.net

Another site to exchange/trade unwanted books, bookmooch.com and you can donate your points to sick or low income kids.

Watching the news lately I've seen a lot of coupon sites. I'm really interested in a coupon party. Not sure what it's all about exactly, but sounds like you pay $25 for an actual class that teaches you to maximize your use of coupons/sales to get the most savings. I'm unemployed but no benefits. Hoping to get a job soon. So every little bit would help.

I found a lot of resources on this website, even forums discussing money issues. Places to get free food boxes, resources for medical care, dental care you name it they link you to lots of resources people need in this economy. emoticon emoticon www.moneycentral.msn.com/home.asp

I use www.cookinglight.com to find recipes. The reason I like this site is that they are usually really good healthy recipes. You don't need the magazine when you can get all their recipes online for free. Almost everything I cook comes from this site.

I have found great tips from this site. It is great for those that have the time to cook. I work outside the home so alot of the daily ideas are not for me.

Here's a good one for finding recipes by ingredient or by nutrition goal (e.g. calcium-rich recipes). It's for food stamp program users but you sure don't have to be on food stamps to use it!

Any cookbook that uses leftovers and I regularly google for recipes that use what ingredients I have on hand.

Cabbage is reasonable and a good food stretcher. So are noodles if you measure the amount for calories.

This is the place to tell your fellow SparkPeople about other websites and resources you find useful in these challenging times. Please make sure they're not competing diet/weight loss sites, and please make sure they're free (or at least have a free option). Websites shouldn't be to sell a product or service, because that might violate SparkPeople's terms of service. Use the "Add a Link" button that's above your reply window so that others can just click your links.

Great books, cookbooks, etc. are welcome. Check your public library or used bookstore for these and if you find something useful, tell us about it here.
