Used to spend alot more when I worked at a professional office-but now that I kinda semi-retired in ways and work only part-time in retail--I no longer go to a salon and have my hair done, etc. My hairstyle is easy enough to cut and/or trim myself. As to skin care-I do spend more as I have dry eye syndrome and there are only select products that can be used around my eyes and face-so as not to irritate the eyes and set them off--inflammation!!!

I have a history of beaut parlor disasters - like the actress in the old movie ALFIE, who stuck her head under a water faucet after her visit to a beauty shop. I've pretty much done my own hair, including perms in the old days. I buy combination shampoo/conditioner, shampoo about once a week. I rarely wear makeup, but as I lose weight, I intend to wear it daily, and start using face creams at night. Maybe I spend $100 a year, I'll also paint my nails more often - I've never done my toenails except to cut them as needed,

i used to cut my own hair but now my hubby does it. looks kind of like I popped a bowl on top of my head and cut around it. but he does it. I wash my hair twice a week. the bottle lasts about two months . recently bought a package of 4 olive oil and us that on my skin .do not use makeup but did buy a tube of lipstick off facebook for older women . love it. hope to find it again if I need it . so I spend very little upon my self. so not go to doctor but twice a year. am diabetic and high and low pressure of blood. but doesn't do much good to go. they never do anything anyway.

I was thinking about budgeting in the shower...donít judge... and wondered what others spend on haircare and skin care.

I buy my shampoo by the gallon, but my conditioner only comes in 32 oz containers.
Shampoo is $40 USish, and lasts a couple of years. I dilute.
I go through maybe four conditioner containers at $7 each.
I cut my own hair.

Skin, I have a sulfur soap for rosacea, CC cream, sunscreen, toner, moisturizer.
Iíd say I drop $50 annually, all told.
