CrossFit workout this morning was short, but intense. It allowed time for a lot of mobility stretching work at the end.

Warmup:
Short run and then 10 push-ups, 10 pull-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 10 squats

Strength training:
5.3.1 Bench Press week 4 deload

Conditioning: 7 minutes of as many rounds as possible (AMRAP)
7 Burpees
14 Pull-ups
21 Double-under jump rope
and repeat

Mobility WOD:
Focused on shoulders, hips, trapezius muscles

I wasn't able to make it to the gym this morning.
So far, I have completed 30 minutes on the wii fit.
I have so many household activities, I think I will wear my pedometer and track that.
Later, I have plans for my strength training and another 30 minutes cardio.

4 consecutive Tabata's. A Tabata workout is an interval training cycle of 20 seconds of maximum intensity exercise, followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated without pause 8 times for a total of four minutes.

Wall Ball (20 lbs)
Pull Ups
Burpees
Sumo Deadlift High Pull (95 lbs)

Then 5.3.1 Dead lift (Deload week)

Another wild WOD today called Deck o' Death
Shuffle a card deck and pick a card, EVERY card.

Diamonds = Knees to elbows
Hearts = Squats
Spades = Burpees
Clubs = Cherry pickers
Joker = Run 200 yards

The number on each card is the rep count (Face cards run 11, 12, 13 & Ace is 14)

Pre-holiday CrossFit workout performed in repeating order like the 12 days of Christmas

Start with 1 Burpee, then do 2 DU and 1 Burpee, then do 3 KTE and 2 DU and 1 Burpee; until you reach the 12 Kettleball Swings and work down for the grand finale.

5 Rings Dips
6 Pull-ups
7 Ab Mat Sit Ups

Saturday - 2.5 hours of mountain bike riding with my son.
