Using Zumba 2:
I have been doing the 50 + min class with weights, at any intensity, that got too easy now I'm
doing the 70 min class with weights, any intensity. That is 6 out of 7 days a week consistently.

Where do I go from here? Do I strap weights to my ankles too? I just have them around my wrists atm.

I have been trying to find Zumba for Wii. I have found it on Amazon but they havent had any available to buy. All the other sites I have been of of stock. Hopefully I will get it ordered today and get started doing it by the end of the week!

I just bought Zumba for the Wii yesterday...got through instructions and first lesson and it was fun (my daughter joined in). The classes are better but my gym only offers the class twice a week. This looks like a great alternative!

I just ordered this. I thought it might help me learn the steps better, so I don't embarrass myself as much at the classes. hehe

I got my copy finally just last week and have used it 3 times a great alternative when I can't make it to the gym. I really like it and so do the kids. Would definitely recommend.

I do like the game but as most prefer the classes. With kids and a husband, making it to the classes every night can't happen. Don't have the videos but wonder if the Wii game is as good as the videos? Any one compare them for me? emoticon I love Zumba, what a great addiction to have. Hoot Hoot!

Just got it today and did the 20 minute beginner work out in addition to my EA Sports Active 2 workout. My gym only offers it twice a week and only 1 is at a time that I can get there. The live class is more fun, but this is the next best thing, and my daughters like doing it too!!!

My husband let me trade in his Star Wars video game to get it from Game Stop a couple of weeks ago. I love it. I think the video game aspect of it could have been done better (more in depth challenges), but I love Zumba so I can't hate on the game.

I love Zumba for Wii. I purchased it for myself for Christmas. My busy schedule doesn't really allow time for going to a gym to take a class. I feel more comfortable doing it in my home too. That way I don't have to worry about anything if I do a step wrong.

I've not done it very much, but I'm trying to spend more time doing workouts. Spark People really helps because I'm able to log my exercise time. It encourages me to do something because I can see how much or how little I'm doing.

I just got the game tonight! Like TTHOMKE, it's been hard for me to make the classes at my gym because either my 3-year-old son is still asleep, or it's right before his bed time.

I tried out the 45-minute intermediate workout and loved it! I haven't been to a class in a couple of weeks, so I missed dancing and sweating like that. LOL my son tried to do it with me too, and there were a few moments I had to jump fast to avoid stepping on him. ;)

I'm also doing the EA Sports Active 2 9-week program, so I've got Zumba scheduled just twice a week for now. But I'm guessing I'll be adding to that if I'm still having fun.

I have it for the Wii and I love it! My fiance bought it for me as a Christmas gift (I would have been offended if I hadn't asked him to buy it for me) and I think he's wishing he hadn't bought it b/c I'm doing Zumba whenever I have some free time. I know he'll be happy about it once I start losing some of this extra weight I gained while I was pregnant with our kids.

I love beginner 20 minute class 2 and expert 45 minute class 6 - I think I could do El Amor and The Twist all day long if I had nothing else to do! I've only done a few of the expert classes but it seems like I don't get as much of a workout as with the beginner and expert level classes.

Has anyone unlocked the Zumbathon yet? I have one more class to beat and I'm there!

Holy crap! In less than a week the Zumba for Wii went from $27.49 to $59.95 on Amazon! There's a little example of supply and demand for all of you econ folks out there. Lol! I see places like Best Buy and Sears are still selling them online for $39 though. Tempting, but since I just ordered the DVDs and a pair of Nike Musique's last week I think I will wait on this purchase for a while. =)

I just got mine yesterday and did my first class last night. I've always wanted to try Zumba, but I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to keep up with an hour class at my gym. After just doing 20 minutes of it...I realize that I was right. I was dying, and I realize that I have absolutely no sense of rhythm, but I love it!! I'm excited to get the moves down and eventually be able to join a real class. This will definitely be a good addition to my workout program. I do wonder how many calories it burns per hour, my next purchase will be a HR monitor with the calorie option.

I asked for the game for Christmas and my husband misunderstood and was trying to find a Non-kinect Xbox game. After Christmas NOONE had it. Noone could order it. Everywhere was sold out.
Finally our Gamestop guy told my husband he had gotten one for us.

Friday night I did the training bit and one song. I have been snowed in with my whole family since then so I have not been able to use it till today. I did the 20 minute beginner work out (because I had not used it before) and thought it was great! I look forward to using it on days I cannot get to the Y for my real class!

I got the game and LOVE IT! It is just so much fun. I had my 8 year old daughter doing it with me last night. Last night I did the second class and was wondering if anybody else had issues with the remote popping out of the belt. If it becomes and issue I might just not use the remote, but I like seeing my score at the end. Any suggestions?

Anybody else notice this was the hottest fitness game on the market? The guys at walmart couldn't believe how hot it is, they can't keep it on the shelves.

i just bought it. It's not convenient for me to go to classes but i can do it at home and my 6 yr old likes to do it with me! It's so much fun. I have a heart rate monitor and mine was between 70-85% the whole time so i would say that it's a good work out!

I think Zumba for Wii is awesome. I was sweating when I was done with the work out and I don't usually sweat at a Zumba class. I can't wait to do it again today. My heart was pumping! I would say it really works. All you really do is watch them do the moves then follow them. I don't even think you really need the "Wii-mote" when you are playing; even though that helps you keep track of how well you are keeping up.

I feel as if Zumba for Wii is an excellent substitute for people like me without much money. It also helps because I can do it whenever I want to. Usually with classes I have a hard time of saying Tuesday afternoon at 7:00 p.m. I'll be free. My life is so crazy that I don't know when I'll be free.

Let me know what you think. I'd love to hear about other people trying it on the Wii.
