Walking is my main kind of exercise too (many people have already said this). I do virtual walks on my treadmill, while watching some favourite TV programmes. Presently I am walking the Camino de Santiago. Besides helping with weight loss, I sleep better.

Walking my absolute favorite form of exercise. I walk 3 to 5 intentional exercise miles a day. Love it. Between exercise and steps, I get a minimum of 5 miles daily.
I used to walk. Now I use a walker. Time does that to you.

Plantar fascitis derailed my wonderful walking routine for close to a year, lead to a blood clot that traveled to my lungs and I almost died. For the past five months I've been in physical therapy just to regain basic movement skills. Orthotics, compression socks and water aerobics are helping, but I am a long way from being able to enjoy the level of activity I enjoyed previously.
Walking is my main exercise. Thanks for the reminders of how important it is.
