I go to the fruits & veggies first and don't hesitate to treat myself to healthy choices. Then I am less likely to indulge in snack foods & baked goods.
don't forget to ditch the coupons that are not healthy foods.
Make a list and try to stick to it.
I have a friend who refers to the store bakery section as the "food porn" area. Nothing good can happen if you peruse this area.
What I hate is when the store moves items around often so I have to hunt for things on my list. It's another tactic to get the customer to see "things they just might need."
Laughing at the mention of the tempting food put within reach of "little paws" when shopping. It's tough when my DH shops with me. He grabs all the bad stuff---have to review contents of cart before checking out. LOL.
I never even see end caps. When they put sale items on an end cap I can never find them.
