Surprised that common. downhill strategy not mentioned here. Zig zag 4-6 feet wide on downhill, not straight down. Skiers traverse downhill using back and forth across the face of the hill to control speed and reduce shock on quads and ankles from direct downward strikes. We learned this year's ago in track, both my xcountry runners were taught this in high school and college. Report
