Hi my name is Alexis and welcome to my SparkPage! I live in rural North Wales surrounded by farms. I am blessed with a lovely partner and two boys aged 4 & 5 years old. I am here to lose weight and get fit. Don't be shy, stop by and say hi, I love to meet new people.

My Goals:
My goals are simple:
1. Stay healthy
2. Get fitter
3. Lose weight - around 0.5kg per week goal.
4. Get stronger
5. Train for the 'Race for Life' for our Dad who we lost to Sarcoma last year
6. Climb Mount Snowdon, up and down (no cheating with the mountain railway)

My Program:
I'm currently following The Autoimmune Protocol to hopefully put my autoimmune diseases into remission. I am currently in the elimination phase, which I have to found to be a liberating experience.
As for fitness my primary exercise is power walking, which I love. I have also taken up aerobics, water aerobics and Zumba. I also have started to enjoy the benefits of strength training and yoga. Who knew I had an inner fitness freak waiting to get out!

Personal Information:
My name is Alexis, I am 45 years old. I loved to eat too much and exercise too little, I am here to learn how to eat the correct amount and how to exercise correctly.

Other Information:
I love to garden, and this year I decided to grow many more fruit and veg and cut some of my garden annuals.
At night I can be found glued to my Kindle, where I like nothing better than a good whodunit or thriller. Although my favourite book of all time is Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy, which gets re-read every November with a box of tissues (for the sobbing) and for the past 27 years a rather large box of chocolates. I will need to find something healthy to snack on this year.
