So, quite a few years ago, I had great success losing weight with Weight Watchers. I got down to my goal weight and was able to maintain it long enough to get the lifetime membership. The group broke up though (WW at work) and I did not keep up with the weigh ins needed to keep my membership. At the end of my run was when they changed into the points plus system and I just didn''t make the transition, although we all swapped out our old program materials for the new ones. I figured I had it all under control though.... famous last thought. I have since put back on almost all of the weight that I had taken off. I was excited to find SparkPeople because I found that tracking was what was the most beneficial thing for me. This is so convenient and I love that I don''t have to go to meetings (never really got much out of those). I am now back on track but, finding it harder to shed the weight now that I have added a few more years onto my age. I am sticking with it though. I also find that the spark points keep me going because it feeds my competitive nature, even though I don''t find much use for them. Oh well, the brain is a funny thing.
