Hey SparkBuddySpecialCousin... How are things? We haven't connected in a bit here. How are the workouts going with the new job? I have been pretty abysmal in my workouts but doing great with nutrition, so, I am still coming out on top. Just gotta get on it with the workouts!!! Drop me a line when you can. Hi to the hubs and the kiddo! -Amy :o)

Hey Sparkbuddy. LOL. Ok first what I am going to tell you is not necessecarily going to make you feel super psyched. It is ridiculously hard, it took me nearly 2 years to figure out and there are days when I feel so spread thin that I might tear into a thousand pieces. There is good news though. First, cut yourself some slack. You are starting a new job and you, Paul and Jack are all going through a major transition so for right now you can just focus on that and feel good. For me, I have found time at 5 AM while Nate and Amelia are still sound asleep. I am able to get in 30 minutes of exercise, get them all packed up for the day, give myself some moments of zen and then leave by 6:3o. I have found that doing that actually sets me up for a whole day of success and then when I get home I can spend time with Amelia. There are things I do have to let go. My bathrooms get cleaned every other week, dusting occurs when I can see it (HA), we are currently getting our clean clothes out of baskets and dishes may not get done everyday. We can only do what we can do, and a lesson I have learned is that taking care of myself even at the expense of dishes and laundry makes for a happier me and therefore a happier marriage and happier daughter. Don't worry, once you get into a routine you will be amazed at how you can make fitness fit in. If occasionally Jack eats Pirate's Booty for breakfast so you can fit in a workout that's ok too. How is the new job going BTW? How is Jack liking day care? I am a little sad I managed to gain 2 lbs..LOL..perhaps I need to make better nutritional choices. I will Facebook you this week with my address!!!

    Hello, Special Cousin!

How is everything going? I need some motivation from my Sparkbuddy, here...

How the HECK do you find time to work, take care of Amelia, and work out? This past week was... interesting, to say the least. I feel like I made a lot of good nutrition choices, but the whole working out aspect went out the window because I was so tired. How do you do it? Please share!

I hope all is well with you! Oh, and when you get a chance I still need you to message me your address. (I sent you a message about it on Facebook).

    OK, buh bye!

Thank you both for your welcome messages and well wishes. We live in North western VT, but in general we just love living here. Most of all I love the food culture and all the great fresh, local and healthy things I can find here to help my quest. It's so great to automatically have a support system. Thanks again!!!
