Fitness Minutes: 36,312

My Goals:
I want to lose 70 pounds to get back to my early twenties weight so that hopefully I will have more energy. It's embarrassing to have a mother who is 20 yrs older be more energetic.


My Program:
I've been on SP since 2012 I believe with very little success in the weight area but definitely have built strong consistent healthy life patterns that are non-scale victories for me. In 2018 I am adding the THM eating habits and trying to focus on food fuels and getting the basics of that and believing I can eat food from every spectrum. I have a serious thyroid problem but do not take thyroid medicine because I do not have insurance and they could never get it under control. In July 2019 I started taking a Complex B. My main goal: Plenty of water, track my food because that works best for me and using the SP To Do List to set goals for my week that help me to stay on track. I limit the teams I am on, because talking about it doesn't fix the problem. I do lots of reading and listening to stay focused and encouraged and I have a step counter to insure I am moving enough.

My ultimate goal is to be a godly example by taking care of myself so that I am able to physically, mentally, intellectually and spiritually do those things that I should but yet being balanced to realize this body is temporary and is decaying daily and one day I shall be given a new and magnificient body that the most beautiful person here cannot compare to.

    The short challenges are so helpful for me - appreciating starting from scratch with the 2 day New member challenge and am encouraged. the shorter amount of time in sparking and more time in living is good for me too.
