Hi, I'm Beth. My story is very familiar. It could be yours. I continualy struggle with my weight and my health. Some years it's good...and some...not so good. To say that I have a problem probably makes me sound like a 10 step program, but it's not that far from the truth.

I am intelligent, educated and in a long term happy relationship with a relatively well adjusted lifestyle. What I don't have is a healthy one. I do KNOW what to do to be healthy. I Know what to eat. I KNOW what exercise my body need...but like so many others, I have taken the easy path, prefering to be lazy and slothful.

I am going to change that. I have started a clinical weightloss plan that is being closely monitored by my doctor. I went into the plan in October 2019 at 241lb. As of January 30, 2020 I have lost 31 pounds.

My Goals:
Eat healthy and get strong! My current goal is to reach a weight where my BMI is no longer "Obese". I know that this is not a complete description of my wellness and health but I needed a target. It is something concrete I can strive towards. Secondary goal is to complete a 5K on May 2, 2010

My Program:
I am following a low carb diet plan. It is not really "keto" It is closer to the diet plan for patients with diabetes. Low carb, high protein , good fats and predominately green leafy and low carb veggies with dietary supplements and increased exercise.

Personal Information:
I recently moved from Florida, now live in Virginia and enjoy spinning, sewing, weaving, and motorcycle riding.
