I know I'm beautiful, but I lost all confidence in my outward appearance. I gained weight slowly over a five year period, due to health issues, a bad relationship, and then plain ol' laziness. My back and feet hurt, My clothes didn't fit, and I felt uncomfortable a lot. So I made a decision at the beginning of summer '07 to make a drastic change.

I had dropped 9 pounds from June to July, but they slowly crept back on as I stopped smoking. My main idea is to stop beating myself up about being fat and make a change. I deserve to look as awesome as I am outwardly.

I've made huge progress after moving from Seattle to San Diego, and now I'm only about 20 pounds to my long-time goal. I may even make it 30, depending on how I feel about landing at my goal.

Here's to being a healthier person, every day!

Fitness Minutes: 50

My Goals:
in 2008 I started my weight loss journey after gaining almost 90 pounds over 4 years. I've worked hard (and not so hard) to take the weight off, and it's paid off. I'm still working towards my goal, but it's turned into a lifestyle, and less of a hassle.

My Program:
I start Fitness bootcamp August 20th. I'm hoping it will be my kick off to the early morning fitness, as it starts at 5:30am. Yikes.

Personal Information:
I used to be REALLY skinny. Like.. size 3 skinny. And I was convinced for years that I was fat. If only I could go back to the younger me and say:

"Look dude, booze and not being a vegan anymore will make you fat. Dive into the real life in moderation. Real Corn dogs and Real Mac and Cheese have a lot more calories than you're used to. Try not to live off it."

Other Information:
Even though I'm going to be doing a lot of "giving up", cupcakes, in moderation.... will never ever fall off my radar.

    YYYYYAAAAYYYY! You look adorable as always and I will say I can see the lbs. dropping just from seeing your face etc alone! It's a great feeling isn't it?!?!

    I haven't been to the gym faithfully in the past week or so, so much has come up - BUT... I will say this... we just found a new house we're moving into and dropping bucks on for deposits and what not, but the kicker is... once we are all settled in and once the class is up again I think I might sign up for BOOT CAMP at the Y (there were signs for it this week!!!) and hopefully it won't cost me too much extra!

    okokokok Ms bootcampers. I to am putting myself through a 5:00 am scary wakeup as well, not as scary for me as it is for the people who have to see me :P.
    I joined a gym last week, and figured that first thing in the morning would be best since I work an 8-5, have a son, bulldog, bf, and cat, oh yeah Im in school too. Anyway I'll try to keep you motivated on the 5 am grudgefest. I did it all last week and it wasn't soooooo bad *slightly lies*
    Howeva, on the craftyness you should really, ur, um, like ,really check on PRD . It a craft forum smaller and way more chill than ...still looking forward to those links doll...have a good one..
