    2. Dress Up !! The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.

    3 . Learn!! Read as much as you can and gain knowledge about living a healthier lifestyle!

    4. Stand Up!!..... For what you believe in. Stand for something or you will fall for anything.

    5. Look Up !!.. to your next goal and reward. What do you need to do in order to meet or exceed that goal?

    6. Reach Out !!... by encouraging others and being supportive in their times of need.

    7. Lift Up !!.. Your spirit....as this journey is not only about your body and weight loss but the changes with your mind and soul too!

    8, Get moving !! ... Find ways to incorporate exercise into your daily routine. Sneak in as much exercise as possible!

    As always, excellent advice. It seems every other day I can zip into gear and get extra walking and exercise done. As it is I always know that I will get 1000 feet in with my twice a day jaunts to the barn and I nudge myself to make the 1000 foot walk to and from the mailbox rather than taking the truck...lol. I am really appreciative of my friends that tend to call and talk at length, serendipitously. After an hour on the phone my motivation fizzles and I'm ready for a nap. I just need to step it up and taking on the invite to lose 5% of my weight in 8 weeks should be very good to keep me honest and on track.
