I have been at this for enough years that I have lost count. I always said, "I got fat eating what I wanted and I was skinny eating what I wanted. If I can't enjoy the ride then I'm not going to take it." I have learned that I can eat brownies and lose weight. I just have to wach how many I eat. That's where the lifestyle change comes in. As I have kept my goals in focus it has been relatively easy to do. When I sidetrack myself mentally I make no progress at all. For the first year and a half I did little exercise, but I looked for ways to sneak it in on myself while standing in line at the Post Office or just a few minutes here and there of extra straching while doing laundry. Then I joined one of the Bootcamps and got on a regular mindset of doing something every day and it changed my life. For 7 months now I have been doing thirty minutes of cardio almost every morning. I found something I like and don't feel like a fool doing and I have kept it up. That's what it's all about. Find what works for you and then do it. When the comments begin to pour in your motivation goes through the roof. Keep your goals in focus to keep your thoughts in check and the results will come and so will the comments.
As long as I track my food I lose. Simple as that. But sometimes getting me to put it into writing and black and white is something else. When I think, " I've got this." and can do it on my own I fail miserably. So many years later, when I should have already met my goal, I am at it once again.

Consider the information below. Our blood is 70%% water, the muscles 75%, the bones 20% the lungs 90% and our brain 70%. Without water our blood thickens. It regulates our body temperature, carries nutrients and oxygen to our cells and protects our vital organs. It even cushions our joints. By drinking only cokes it doubles the risk of heart attack.

#1.In many states the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the trunk to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.
#2. You can put a Tbone steak in a bowl of Coke and it will be gone in two days.
#3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour,then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.
#4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.
#5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.

Empty a can of Coke into the load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield.

My favorite movies at this time are all movies based on Nicholas Sparks books like The Guardian. The Notebook, Time in a Bottle and A Walk to Remember. My favorite line is from Walk and that is "we learn compassion from the things we have suffered."
