My name is Cynthia. I am 26. I struggle with my weight. I have up's and down's. In 2011 I successfully lost 50 lbs with the help of Sparkpeople. In October 2013 I had my first baby. I am back and hope to lose 30 lbs. I will use the following mantras to help me on this journey:

-- I will take one day at a time!
-- I will weigh in only once a week!
-- I will drink a glass of water when I have a craving to determine if I was just thirsty.
-- I will become a more active person anyway i can
-- I will accept that this is a marathon, not a sprint. I will eventually get to my goals.
-- I will keep myself busy
-- I will drink lots of water, and eat more vegetables
-- I will eat if i'm hungry, and will not eat if i'm not
-- I will become a runner
-- I will envision the number on the scale if i am tempted to eat unhealthily (Courtesy of: BEKKASHAY)

My Goals:
*Maintain a weight of 150-165
*Try rock climbing
*Run my first 5k (Completed March 4th, 2012 38 mins.)
*Exercise no less than 3x a week
*Add more strength training to my routine
*Try Pilates
*Eat healthier snacks
*Drink more water
*Eat more vegetables
*New: Look amazing in jeans and a white tank top



My Program:
1. Healthy Eating
2. More activity any way i can get it
3. Playing with my son
4. Drink lots of water



Personal Information:
I live in Ontario, i am 26 years old, and am 5'7

I have learned alot of fitness/nutrition, but putting what i have learned into action seems to be a challenge on it's own

I would love to find an exercise buddy!!

    I am moving soon too! I hope to burn some calories moving stuff from here to there & such as well but I'm worried about meals......since FAST FOOD is likely to be part of the plan for at least one day. Anyway, good luck & have a great move!

    hey hon!! are you getting ready for the big move??? Well I am hanging on by a thread! My husband is pretty much NEVER home so I get exercise about once a week at the moment :( My baby does not generally nap during the day :( He sleeps all night but still!! So I never get a thing done- I weigh in tomorrow and hope to at least lose a few ounces! I am proud of you for hanging on there- I will be happy with every ounce I lose between now and November (my sisters wedding)- its soo hard with a newborn!!
