My name is Cynthia. I am 26. I struggle with my weight. I have up's and down's. In 2011 I successfully lost 50 lbs with the help of Sparkpeople. In October 2013 I had my first baby. I am back and hope to lose 30 lbs. I will use the following mantras to help me on this journey:

-- I will take one day at a time!
-- I will weigh in only once a week!
-- I will drink a glass of water when I have a craving to determine if I was just thirsty.
-- I will become a more active person anyway i can
-- I will accept that this is a marathon, not a sprint. I will eventually get to my goals.
-- I will keep myself busy
-- I will drink lots of water, and eat more vegetables
-- I will eat if i'm hungry, and will not eat if i'm not
-- I will become a runner
-- I will envision the number on the scale if i am tempted to eat unhealthily (Courtesy of: BEKKASHAY)

My Goals:
*Maintain a weight of 150-165
*Try rock climbing
*Run my first 5k (Completed March 4th, 2012 38 mins.)
*Exercise no less than 3x a week
*Add more strength training to my routine
*Try Pilates
*Eat healthier snacks
*Drink more water
*Eat more vegetables
*New: Look amazing in jeans and a white tank top



My Program:
1. Healthy Eating
2. More activity any way i can get it
3. Playing with my son
4. Drink lots of water



Personal Information:
I live in Ontario, i am 26 years old, and am 5'7

I have learned alot of fitness/nutrition, but putting what i have learned into action seems to be a challenge on it's own

I would love to find an exercise buddy!!

    WOw girl you do have alot going on!! I am so excited for you and your first house!! That will be AWESOME!! I cant wait to hear all about it! you will be busy!! I am in a rut too and sucking. I wake up and try every day and then by the end of the day I suck. My husband umpires at night after his normal job so whenever he doesnt do that I power walk with my friends (1-3 nights a week) and that is all the time I can devote to working out at the moment. I need ot get in shape for my sisters wedding!! I need to try harder with my food at least...so todays another day- if I am lucky I am about 176 right now BLAHH I would be happy to be in the 160s at this point! Lets figure this out girl!!! I am not HAPPY!!!!!!!!

    Oh my gosh- I am so sorry hon :( did she die suddenly or was she sick? That is so hard- I am sending you prayers and hugs an kisses to get thru this. I am so so close to my gramma so I can't imagine. Don't worry about your diet right now- just take a timeout. I am in a rut too and my husband umpires at night during baseball season and he just started so he doesn't come home at night and I just can't figure out how to exercise! Ughhh hang in there hon xoxoxox

    Hey! I think that is a great idea!! you are figuring this out and thats what is important! Its hard and emotional journey and you will get to the end of it!! you are so close really!! I didnt do amazing this week. My daughter was on spring break so we went out to lunch a few days and blah blah and breast feeding is making me starving so my day fell apart too by night time! I did work out but not that many days- we will both do better next week! I managed to lose .5 lb. I guess thats better than gaining! Well better feed baby as usual! have an awesome weekend, we will kick butt next week!!
