Starting again .. sigh... and now I have to deal with diabetes also.

Fitness Minutes: 28,590

My Goals:
(1) Get to a healthier weight. My short term goal is to get below 200 by the end of the year and yes that is a stretch goal.
(2) Exercise!
(3) Write every day. Finish my current book and send it to a publisher before the end of the year.

My Program:
(1) I am starting with dumbbells and walking. I am using a Fitbit to track my steps and I am aiming for at least 70K a week.. I am doing the weights and floor exercises 100 mins a week.
(1) Log and plan my food daily. Eat within my calorie range 6 days a week. Thursdays I can have one freedom meal/dessert.

Personal Information:
I am lucky to have a wonderful family. I have two grown sons who unfortunately live far away, My parents are super sweet and I have two wonderful but super skinny sisters - I would love to look like I belong to the group when we are together.

I am semi-retired from a stressful job and working four days a week baking bread and donuts and cookies (and yes it is super hard to resist when they are hot out of the oven).

I enjoy writing, playing MMOs, and reading. I've been so out of shape that all my hobbies are sedentary - or maybe I am out of shape because of my hobbies. I am trying to teach myself how to draw and paint ... but the results are pretty sad atm.

When I fully retire, or win the lottery, or become a best-selling author, I plan on moving into a travel trailer and traveling the country for at least a few years before I settle down.

    Hope you had a great camping trip over the 4th of July holiday. Our family used to be big tent campers but my hubby has sleep apnea so it makes tent camping more difficult. Once we are through with our weddings this year and some house renovation we might look into a camper so we can camp again.
