May 25 2009-I'm completely thrilled that I've found all these wilderness trails nearby where I live! I just pop on my mp3 player and take off! I hurt my achilles tendon last week and it's been killing me to rest! Who is this person that I'm turning into. I feel so positive, that's the best side effect of the exercise!

Nov 2008 -I feel that I've stalled, but I know that my whole outlook is different that what it's ever been. I need to up the activities in my life. It's really hard to want to go for a walk now that it gets dark at 4:30 in the afternoon. I guess I'll have to start using the treadmill and stop making excuses for my laziness!

I'm proud that my husband is starting to actually enjoy some of the healthier stuff that I've been bringing home.

I look forward to meeting more new people on here and sharing what progress we have, or don't have.

Fitness Minutes: 3,605

My Goals:
I want to feel comfortable in my skin. I don't think that's much to ask, especially from my own self! I've realized that if I don't get out and do the exercise, then I won't have any results. I have no body to blame but me.


My Program:
I'm watching what I eat, but I'm not fanatical about it (I probably will get to that point though, I can sense it).
I want to walk for an hour at least 3 times a week, breaking a sweat. Then I know that I'm working.
I have an elastic band exercise equipment thingy that I want to use 3 times a week too. It's for pull downs, peckdeck, leg bendy thingies. I know how to use it, just not what to call the exercises!



Personal Information:
I'm from Nova Scotia's Eastern shore.
I have a great husband and 2 kitties.
I'm planting a big garden this year, to save on the cost of organic produce!


Other Information:

    You should feel happy about yourself!

    You are smart...not everyone is.
    You are beautiful with a fabulous smile.
    You are strong and capable...some people are wimps.
    You are kind and giving.

    What is not to feel happy about? You are heavy, yup....have been for a long time. But your friends and family love and respect you for who you are and that should make you happy. You wear your body like it belongs to you.

    Doesn't mean you can't lose some weight...if you want to, if you choose to. But first you need to be happy...right now. Love yourself...right now. By loving yourself and being happy it will make it so much easier to take care of yourself, to feed yourself right and do the exercise to lose the weight.

    You can't be unhappy and succeed. You only really get today....be happy, live life, and you'll lose the weigh. I know you can do it.

    (You put in your own toilet....can't be any harder than that!)
