Update: Here I am 18 months later and 8 lbs heavier! Still not "fat", so I made my goal of not being fat when I turned 40, but I am uncomfortable and wanting to get back into shape.

Despite a blip this past summer 07 I am getting back on track and eating right and taking good care of my body and i will be amazing come next spring (Bahamas here I come!)

No scale, only inches measurements and BF%. My new mantra is "The scale is evil"

Serious illness a few weeks ago (4/08) and am regaining my strength little by little. I am way too young to be that sick! Only a few pounds left to go, i am going to continue with the measurements and avoiding the scale more than once a week. I had quit smoking 8/06 and I started up again 8/07 and thats why I ended up sick, so no more smoking for me!!! But without it I do tend to get fat quick, so thats why I am back! (edit) yeah, I started smoking again. Damn!)

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in back and neck injuries. I work full time (and go to school full time) and love my job. Some days my massage practice can be a little overwhelming though, and those days I use for my cardio (take a peek at my food and exercise logs to the right to see how many cals I burn those days and you will understand why I don't do more those days!)

My Goals:
I am going to be more concerned with how fit and toned I am becoming rather than worrying about the weight I am on a scale. This is about losing body fat and not about what weight number my scale tells me I am.

My Program:
I am doing an exchange diet my dietitian set up for me 1700 cals per day and 60-90 min of cardio each day.
