Well hello there, I'm Kat. I'm 24, living in the UK, and I'm hoping to lose 154 pounds or 11 stone (UK). I know, it's a huge feat, but with the support of the spark community and my family (they joined yesterday), I hope I can achieve it!

I used to be really bubbly, confident and always up for a laugh. Now I'm always thinking up excuses not to go out with my friends. One day, they'll stop asking because they'll know the answer, so I'm gonna stop that happening!

The question is: What do I want??? I want a LIFE! I have missed out on so much and I will keep missing out if I keep this up. So NO MORE. I WILL lose this weight!

It's been a year since I joined SP, and I have to be honest, I NEVER thought I'd make 2 months, let alone 1 year! It has been difficult sometimes, but there has been ALOT of support around me. I've had the chance to learn about how my body works, what it needs and how much I can push it. I can even run on the treadmill for 7 mins, something which I never thought I'd do. I still have a way to go, but I know I can do it now, unlike last year. So, I raise my glass to the next 12 months, and shout BRING IT ON!

My aim for 2012: to get below 200lbs... I want to be in Onederland!

My Goals:
I want to be able to walk into a clothes shop and not be embarrassed when walking through the door.

I want to be healthier, and fitter, to live a better life. I just want to feel comfortable when I walk down the street, or go clothes shopping with friends.

My Program:
Exercise 3 days a week and watch my calories. And most importantly, ENJOY my journey.

Personal Information:
Just some general info;
I read alot, and it plays a big part of my life.
I love animals and have a dog called Bella and a cat called Socks.
I love music, and I'm pretty eclectic in what I listen to.
Movies is a massive part of my life. I love them!

I haven't got the greatest confidence, but it's slowly getting there. I hope to improve this over the next year.

Other Information:
Weight loss goals
280 (20 St) – Go Walking somewhere new **25/02/11**

260 (18 st 8lbs) – Get my hair cut! **27/05/11**

240 (17st 2lbs) – Cinema!

230 (15st 10lbs) – First 5 stone down! Try my size 18 (UK) jeans on.

200 (14st 4lbs) – Go swimming.

180 (12st 12lbs) – Buy myself a cocktail dress for the first time.

160 (11st 6lbs) – Go for a spa weekend.

140 (10st) – Goal! Clothes Shopping, photoshoot, HOLIDAY!! And re-do all of the above!

    Hey Kat

    I'm so so glad things are better at home. It really is tough when you're doing everything possible to stay on track and people are throwing temptation in your face. It's a lot easier to resist when you know you have to put on your coat and shoes and walk out to the shops in the cold to get snacks (not gonna say I haven't done that before! But it takes a lot more thought and effort than just reaching into the cupboard). Stay strong mate. Just 40 days til Christmas. Let's stay on track til then and then we can give ourselves a few treats on Christmas day. Sounds like a plan?

    Hi Kat, my workout didn't go so well. I'm having a hard time getting started. I feel there is something stopping me from my work outs and I really need to get to the bottom of it. So today I'm doing some soul searching and making a list to help me determine where I'm breaking down. Thanks for stopping by my sp Stop in anytime the encouragement is greatly appreciated.
