My intro used to be about my family and the struggles to find the time, then it was about not making excuses about the time commitment and to just do it. Now I'm updating it again. I've been laid up after some minor surgery and realizing that some people live like this, completely inactive, for their whole lives. Activity and fitness level is a spectrum upon which we all have a spot. Choose to live a full life of 'doing' instead of a life that's less.

Fitness Minutes: 3,859

My Goals:
I want to become fit and start having some personal non-work, non-children related interests and active hobbies.

Started at 198lbs - had some health issues and now want to get fit. Went up and down and now restarting from 192lbs.

My Program:
Eat healthy, drink water and start exercising (including strength training.)

1. Weekly weigh-in, monthly measurements - tracking progess
2. Tracking nutrition: 1200-1500 cals per day
3. Tracking exercise: minimum of 6 sessions of cardio per week
4. Blogging daily

Personal Information:
A 'dieter' always... struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember - time to stop! Everything else in my life is great. I excel in work, family, friends - life! My weight is my one hurdle I haven't managed to conquer... yet!

Other Information:
Life is 1% what you are given, 99% what you make of it.

2010 was a year where I had some health issues (surprising - I've always been healthy) and when my weight loss journey truly begun for all of the right reasons - to live a long, healthy life!
