I am seeking a fresh start! I have struggled with weight my whole life, my heaviest was 225 pounds and my lowest has been 161, in August of 2017. I know my biggest issue is food. I for sure have been eating too much and I know I need to reign it in, in order to continue my weight loss.I saw my reflection in the mirror a couple of weeks ago and I realized that despite my body not being where I would like it to be, that in many ways I am in a good spot. I have less remaining weight to lose than at many times in my life. Everything is just larger than I would like it to be, there is more fat on each area than I would like, but I also think that with focus and discipline in both diet and exercise I will start to see the changes in my body I want. With less weight to lose than most other times I think I will start to refine my body and see changes somewhat quickly if I stay the course. I know it won't be easy, weight loss never is, but I truly desire to achieve my goal weight and to finally know what it feels like to be in that body. I choose to feel good in my body, and happy with it. I see this as a fresh start to continue on my weight loss journey, one that needs to include self love and positivity. I hope to look good, feel good, both mentally and physically. I choose to love myself and accept myself as I am in all ways. I wil believe and know that I am enough. I will release the past and any negativity that does not serve me well. I choose to focus on happiness, love, joy and peace.

My Goals:
My goal weight is 135 pounds.

My goal for my body is to lose fat from all over, to lose inches and to overall slim down. I want my body to be fit and toned, and to be able to shed the remaining excess fat so that I can see the muscles I am building.
* Lose my remaining double chin.
* Slim down my arms, tone them up.
* Lose fat from tummy, slim, flatten and tone my tummy areas, more defined waist.
* Lose back fat, smooth and tone.
* Strong core.
* Tone and tighten tush, more shapely and lifted.
* Slim thighs, tone, lose inner thigh pudge.


My goal is to have my body feel good physically, feel stronger and more fit. To lessen the aches and pains and to feel lighter. I want to also feel good in my body, feel comfortable in my own skin and not not feel self- conscious about my body. Instead to accept and love my body and to take good care of it each day.

My goal is to use food and exercise to show myself love daily.


My Program:
I have decided that after being stalled with my weight for the last year that I am going to keep a food diary again. I need to acknowledge that I can't eat how much I want and still lose weight. So I bought a really pretty new journal that I will use each day and write down everything I eat and drink. I need to make sure that I write in it as I eat so as to not just fill it all in at the end of the day when it has already been eaten. I also bought a fun daily planner that I am going to use to track my exercise and put in goals for weight loss and fitness. I think it will make it just a little nicer having some new, pretty things to use. I do believe in all things in moderation, so I won't put any food/drink off limits, but I know an emphasis needs to be on healthy, whole foods. Fruits, vegetables, good carbs, proteins, healthy fats, and in appropriate portions. I have to really be cautious about eating too much, more than I need to be eating. I want to eat in ways that are helpful not



Personal Information:
I live in Ct with my mom, who I am quite close too. I come from a family that can be rather distant and sometimes that can feel somewhat lonely, I don't have the close relationships I wish I had .I have struggled to varying degrees with anxiety (mainly social) and some depression for many years now. I have struggled with low self-esteem for most of my life and that is a constant battle for me. I am hoping to continue working on self-love as part of this journey and finding the joy in life. Something I am trying to achieve through faith and prayer and a closer connection to God. I also recently did a 21 day meditation about manifesting your desires, and the law of attraction. Something I am trying to continue with in my life also, believing our thoughts shape us, we attract what we are. I want to be positive and loving and believe what I desire can and will come my way.


Other Information:
I love my two cats, they are my joys.
I love tv and enjoy curling up to watch a good show or movies as a way to relax.
I LOVE coffee!!
I love nature and am a country girl at heart.

    I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for your positive comment on my last post. I thought it was a little ridiculous how I got bombarded with “yucks” and negativity... over a box of cereal. That I didn’t even buy. Sometimes when I see a new item in the store I like to share it. I really appreciate your positivity, you were only one of two who actually had something nice to say. You’re a REAL friend.
