I want to lose weight for my health, to live better, especially to be more active with less joint pain, and to be able fit back into my closet-full of way too small clothes.

Weight Loss Goals
Immediate: -10 lbs
Short Term: -25lbs
Long Term: -50 lbs
Final Goal: -75 lbs

Physical Activity Goals:

Began 05/18/21 - Level 1:
Leslie Sansone Shortcut (Upper Body) video, stationary bike warm-up (5 min)

Began 05/28/21 - Level 2:
Leslie Sansone WATP, 1-2 Mile video
Alternate or combine walk video with outside walk (15-20 min)
Plus free weights strength training, or resistance bands training

Level 3: WATP 2-3 Mile video
Alternate or combine with outside walk (30-45 min)
Plus continued strength training, core, balance ball

Beyond this: It would be amazing to work with a fitness trainer again.

05/28/19: So today I progressed to my second level of using my walk videos, and/or taking outside walks. I am thoroughly rejoicing right now, as I did

My Program:
I track all my food faithfully, this is probably the most important thing I do.
I try to avoid refined carbs, especially refined sugar!
I mostly cook at home (covid helped me get into the habit)
I love to stir fry, and kabobs are amazing,
but I think fajitas are my favorite. :P

Personal Information:
I've battled the bulge since I was 10 years old, and the first diet program I tried was Atkin's Diet Revolution when I was 16 years old. I did very well on it, went back to school after losing 50 lbs over summer, to the surprise of many peers. I've also had some success with weight watchers over the years. I learned good things from these programs, which I have brought with me.

But now, I am here at Sparkpeople, for the tools, the accountability and the community...and I am so happy to be here with you!

It's been a long while since I've even had the desire to join a plan like this, thanks be to God, that desire and motivation has grown in me, into action, taking one step after another.

We only have to focus on one day at a time. Tomorrow has enough challenges of its own. Let's focus on Today. I am honored to take this amazing journey with you!
