I have belonged to SP since 2005. I have lost and gained weight more times then I care to remember. I am not going to think about the past and I want to go forward and be positive.

I revamped my page and deleted my blogs and decided to start a journal.

My name was newmepa for a long time then I changed it to my present name.

I am working hard to lose weight and I wanted a clean slate

I am well on my way and I am feeling very positive with the support of everyone on SP. Thanks

Updated - 5/27/2015 My weight is out of control again. I know what to do and I will do it. I eat when I am upset and that is what I have been doing.

Update 7/4/2015

I have lost 15 pounds in 40 days. I am taking this one day at a time. I want to lose at least 10 - 20 more pounds. I am going to take my time doing it, so I can keep the weight off this time. I know I will do it with the the help of everyone on SP. Thanks for all your support and encouragement.

Update 7/20/2015

I have not worked out in over a week. I have been dealing with the flu. I will wait until I get my strength back and I will start exeercising again. I am down 20 pounds now. I want to lose 20 - 30 more pounds by the end of the year. i know I am well on my way and I feel great.

Update 12/16/2015

I have lost a total of 44 pounds and I am maintaining. I have never felt better in my life. I owe it all to SP and I will be forever grateful.

Update 1/18/2016

I am starting another year on SP. I have made many new friends and I have achieved pretty much what I wanted. I love clothes shopping now and I feel much better about myself. I receive many compliments on my weight loss and I love it. I do remind myself to be humble, thankful and never to let my guard down. I never want to be where I was at this time last year.

I just wanted to see how things are going. I'm sorry you guys had a rough night - I think that it's harder when someone you love, human or animal is sick during the night.

I hope today was a better one for you both!

    Hi Allison,

I am certainly no expert by any stretch of the imagination. Trigger was already a frail 12 1/2 year old who I was just keeping comfortable / buying time.

Friday evening he started coughing a bit, a little more by Saturday afternoon. I thought maybe a cold or even pneumonia, so got him into the vet's Monday. Bill (my vet) initially agreed with me about it maybe being just a cold and said we could try antibiotics, but said that he also wanted to do an x-ray, because he couldn't get Tiggy to cough.

After doing the x-rays, he actually did hear the cough which apparently clinched his diagnosis of congestive heart failure. After showing us the x-rays and explaining what we were seeing, he laid out all the pros and cons... For over a year Bill had been telling me it wasn't time yet, but that day he said I needed to let Tiggy go.

His concern was that we could take him home on an antibiotic, and he might pick up for a day or two, but it was more likely that he would bleed out instead and choke on his own blood. So I let him go to the Bridge rather than let him suffer anymore.

I'm sorry I can't really offer you any real advice - I don't know very much about it, just pretty much what I went through with Tiggy. (His picture is in my gallery, if you are interested)

I pray your outcome is better. Please keep me updated on how things go with you both.

Allison--Thanks for stoppng by my page. Glad to see you back with us. It's really neat living in Ireland. I've been here nearly fourteen years and I love it. Even with their "modernization" the lifestyle is still pretty well "laid-back". I get along better with my SS here than I would in the US.Where is yhour Irish friend from here ??
Good luck to you and the team will help you and support you all we can. .

    Hi Allison..
Thanks for dropping by my page, I do spend a lot of time alone, but I live with my son who helps me get around, and many other things.. I try to keep myself busy, but really don't have many friends in this town.... Good luck to you, and I think it's great you decided to come back.... Sherry. emoticon emoticon emoticon
