yep, runners do seem to have trouble giving it up for one short month. I hated running before LiveFit. Now I sort of like the sprint HIIT.
I think you'd have amazing results. I think that if I could get where I did in 12 weeks, someone who's already fit and strong could be INCREDIBLE.
Right now I'm like "why mess with something that works?"

I never followed the diet to a T, but I think I did follow the guidelines pretty well. Cook only lean meats (with an occasional 250 cal sirloin when I go out), fresh or frozen veggies, resh or frozen fruit, infrequent bread, occasional pasta/rice/quinoa/couscous, LOTS of eggs, LOTS of creative protein smoothies, 4-6 small meals a day. I'd say at least 80% clean and at least 90% lean. I do love my essential fatty acids now. before I'd steer clear of ALL fatty foods- was actually way under minimum fat recommended. Now I have some kind of avocado, nuts, peanut butter, or smoked salmon almost every day. definitely doesn't feel like a diet!

I don't mind the gym and weights at all, but when I'm surfing it's not like i'm working out. Even though it's a tough workout. I've only surfed in NC, SC and FL. I know Costa Rica has awesome surf spots. I've been looking to plan a vacation there with my family.

Thanks for the blog comments. I love surfing. I wish I still lived at the beach because it used to keep me in really good shape in the summer. Now it's gyms and weights everyday. How have you been girl?
