It's painful to come back to my page and see how successful I had been. 2 years has past and I have fallen back into terrible habits and all of my accomplishments have been overshadowed by gaining all the weight back. I have to admit.....I quit. I quit following the things I learned here. I quit making good food choices. I quit running and exercising. I quit being successful in controlling my life.

Now that I've come to terms with that, it's time to make a change again. I am taking a different approach this time. I'm not starting over for a weight loss competition, I'm simply trying to get back to eating better, exercising, and enjoying life again.

Part of me wants to erase my past accomplishments but I've decided to leave them below to remind myself of what I'm capable of.

So I can keep for reference:

2009 Monthly Weigh-Ins
SW- 232.4
Jan- 218.2 (-14.2)
Feb- 211.8 (-6.4)
Mar- 203.4 (-8.4)
Apr- 193.8 (-9.6)
May- 187.2 (-6.6)
Jun- 186.2 (-1.0)
Jul- 189.4 (+3.2)
Aug- 195.6 (+6.2)
Sept- 192.8 (-2.8)
Oct- 193.4 (+0.6)
Nov- 195.2 (+1.8)
Dec- 198.8 (+3.6)
Overall Weight Loss- 33.6 lbs in 2009

My Goals:
I want to return to my better eating habits again and show that I can once again lose the weight and enjoy life.

I'm going at this again with the help of my wife. We both want to end this spiral of bad habits and return to being happier and healthier.

VA Beach Rock 'n Roll Half Marathon

My Program:
Eating 5 balanced meals each day. I intend to eliminate the fast food trips simply because they are an easy solution. That's just an excuse. Limiting alcohol as much as possible. I will treat myself but I need to stay focused.

I am a C25K Grad and a 1/2 Marathon finisher. I intend to walk with my family as often as I can and sprinkle in a few runs when I can.
I never got into a routine with my strength training but I want to be better at this. I'm shooting for 3 times a week.

Personal Information:
I live in Stephens City, VA which is a small town west of DC (80 miles). I've been married since 2004 and have two daughters. My wife (DAPHILLI1) and I need to make changes again are still focused on losing this weight and we are happy about the new choices we have made for ourselves.

Other Information:
New York Giants Fan, DJ, Music Lover, Web Design/Developer

thanks for the sparkfriend add! Whew! I know it was awhile back emoticon , but kinda been MIA...but getting back into things again! We all have regrets. Everyone does. I sure do! But we also have the gift of thIs moment to do something wonderful. We can learn from the past, take some time to grieve, and see how we can move forward. Then go on & count, trophy and add up those moments of wonderfulness--and be super proud of tHose! :) The past is behind you, as chapters in your life. The present moment you are the pen to write the next line in your book. Keep on pursuing the healthiest you! And know there are many cheering you on! emoticon emoticon
