Update 10 (June 28, 2016): Wow! time flies! Hard to believe it has been a year since I have updated my page!!! What a busy year it has been! Holding steady on the weight loss... still down about 40 of the 50 that I had shed from May 2014- Jan 2015. Exercising religiously with a very supportive group of friends at Anytime Fitness in Thurmont, MD has been keeping me on track. A few days after last year's update I was sporting a foot brace for a broken bone in my foot... this almost set me off track but my personal trainer and zumba coach said I had 3 other good limbs so why not come in and work out but just take it easy with the broken foot? Best words of wisdom she could have given me ;)

Update 9 (June 3, 2015):
Been out of touch but still going strong in the weight loss arena. Posting a blog in a few mins....

Update 8 (July 2, 2014):
I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with a personal trainer to help me get this weight off. She and I have been working together for the past 4 weeks and things are going really well (I'm down 20lbs and feeling better than I have in a real long time!!). This is an all natural healthy alternative to foods for better health as well as all natural options for the home and the environment.

Update 7 (Aug 29, 2013):
Started following the Spark Solution and the Spark Coach program in June... Major Win!!! Just what this girl needed to get on this weight loss track!!! Thank you Spark Coaches for your daily encouragement and program to help me stay focused!!! Cancelled my WW membership today since I was only using that to weigh in... no sense in paying that $ when I have what I need right here on SP!!

Update 6 (Dec 11, 2012):
Well, I can say one thing for sure... I am a creature of habit. Reading over my updates would make one think that I should have reached my goal weight a long time ago! But I haven't, and it is because I keep giving up on myself. So, once again, I am back here and this time I enlisted the help of Weight Watchers. I need to be held accountable for my actions... I need to go into the center and weigh in. My family is following the program with me at home this time also. I am very optimistic that this will be the turn around that I have needed for a very long time!

Update 4 (Nov 22, 2011):
Started working out at Anytime Fitness on my 45th birthday ;) Best birthday present in the world! I am feeling better and stronger everyday!

Update 3 (July 14, 2011):
Didn't do too well with that last 100 day challenge... and my motivation went with it... I just need to make the mental change a permanent change... I've just got to do this!

Update 2 (May 6, 2011):
I had a moderate sabbatical from being dedicated to my program... this happened when my weight loss slowed to a crawl. I started sliding back into old habits and realized that I really don't want to do that... so now I am back, focused and ready to work hard again... 100 day challenge underway!

Update 1 (Jan 2011):
I am very happy to say that I have been consistently taking better care of myself since finding SparkPeople!!! I have had my longest stretch of exercising daily... in my life... since making the commitments to myself that I have made. I am truly LOVING the support that I am getting from this site!!!

17Nov2010: I'm on a mission...a mission to stay focused so that I can be a healthier and happier me. I am very blessed to have a very loving husband and 3 beautiful loving daughters. I have every reason in the world to work hard in order to be healthier. I am a very happy person, but not happy with how I have been taking care of myself. I am ready to fix that now.

My Program:
I started this journey on Nov 17th 2010 (my 44th birthday), with a committment to myself to stay on track. I am so glad that I found to assist me.

Check in daily on this site, enter everything I eat and workout. Get as many Sparks Points as I can.
Make "right" food choices.

My workouts are either Zumba; Walking/ Strength training with Leslie Sansone/ WW/ Biggest Loser DVDs, Walking; or walking the treadmill or working out on the elliptical or with the weights at Anytime Fitness.

    Hi Jean - Thanks for swinging by my blog. I left the Willabee's team when everyone else just faded away. Have too many teams to try and keep up with an inactive one :( I have been on Spark but not participating in the community as much - trying to get to a 200 day streak at the moment emoticon

    I haven't been using the nutrition tracker as much as a I should but I'm supplementing our pantry cleanout project with plenty of fresh produce throughout the day. Gotta use up what we have and unfortunately we have been slower to use up some of the processed quick cook foods that we have more than normal so they are all grouping together at the moment. Thanks for pointing out the sodium though - I know it is something that I have to be careful with as well emoticon
