My name is Jeanette. I have 5 children ages: 23, 21, 18, 6, and 3 years old. I'm looking to get down to 200 pounds. Today I weighed in at 260.4 and I'm hopeful that by the end of December, I'll be 200 pounds. I'm eating mostly low carbs, because in the past it has worked well for me. However, I am eating plenty of salad, vegetables, and some fruit. I'm trying to reduce my Diet Coke intake as much as possible and have had great results by drinking green iced tea sweetened with Truvia. July 23, 2018 - 259 lbs, waist 39 inches, hips 49, bust 45... The scale has not been too kind. I feel like I'm stuck between 265 - 255 lbs. However, I recently got a Fitbit from my husband and it's encouraged me to become more active. I'm doing 6 floors of stairs, 8,000 steps, and can do up to 3 regular push-ups at a time. My plan to break this plateau is to continue with the increased exercise, and do some intermittent fasting. Starting today my feed time is from 1 pm to 6 pm. I'm planning 2 meals during that period. On top of that on Monday's and Thursday's I'm going to limit my calories to 500. The rest of the week I'm not limiting my calories, but only eating during my feed time. I will continue to stay low carb as this helps me not feel hungry. I'm also planning 2 high carb meals a month to reset my leptin levels.

    We're doing well. I had to stop nursing at two months when I had to pump and feed and then I wasn't producing enough. I haven't really lost much since the birth... only 3 lbs since then. So I'm hoping to be a little more strict this month and drop some more. The warm weather is coming and I want to wear shorts again!

    I just looked at a blog from 2007 and we seem to have been both lighter- you commented on my blog to help you reach 177 or something along the lines. Now, after all this time, I stopped by.. just reminiscing I guess...
