Hey! I was talking to the new boy (he's big into biking and training for RAGBRAI right now) last night and was telling him about how you are riding that bike ride. I said that you go to that training ride on Wednesdays and he said he does that one too. Does it start at Brookside and go to Gilbert? If so its the same one

You know that is what I was thinking too. Why say no to something fun and with people (I've spent enough time alone!) for dishes and picking up. It's that need to be the responsible adult all the time. One departure from who I was is how much of a creature of habit I was. I was very set on my schedule and what I *had* to do and wanted everything so planned out. I have become much more flexible and flying by the seat of my pants but it still is hard. I'm becoming more and more comfortable with things that are uncomfortable that is for sure.

I do wish my friends were there more for me, but if I would have gotten my way it probably would have been way too much and never would have forced me to deal with it on my own. There were some I rarely heard from at all and I have to wonder why they wouldn't at least check on me. Anytime my friends are going through anything I make sure they know I'm thinking about them or calling to check in or something so they know there is someone there that cares.

But in the end I think it worked out the way it was supposed to and I think you are right you have to do it on your own as much as that sometimes sucks. I'm far stronger and know that I can survive whatever life throws at me all by myself. There is so much ugliness and crap you have to feel and when you get toward the other side of it, it feels good knowing you did that on your own.

I have a feeling it is going to be a great summer :)

That is too funny. That is the problem with a long weekend, very busy first day back! Just getting around to my daily slacking off so hopefully tomorrow I can get it written and up.

It was really fun. It was touch and go weather wise and bug wise so it could have been a crummy weekend but it wasn't. It was very nice to sleep in my own bed last night that is for sure. I got some fun pics too so hopefully I can get all my homework done tonight and get some up on FB and maybe post some here tomorrow.

Did you have a fun weekend? Sorry the dang wind didn't cooperate with your biking again yesterday. That was not real fun to wake up to Monday morning in the tent. I cannot wait to be done working and get outside and RUN tonight. YAY :)

    Hey Julie!
Yeah my life is pretty great I have to say. I mean I have my moments but lately it has been just really good. I'm excited to be going camping and getting away for a bit. Even though it is little and not too far, I'm ready for a mini break!

When my boss told me we were closing early (we were waiting to hear if our DM office was closing or not) I literally started jumping up and down because I was so excited. I think I may have had a bit too much sugar today :)

Do you have any fun plans this weekend? Hope you have a great one!
