Just last week I got off of antidepressants that assisted me in putting on over 50 pounds. I am lucky to not have bad withdrawal symptoms and am alredy feeling better and more hopeful about the future. I want to push myself to get back into shape and remember how good life is when you feel good about yourself!

December 6, 2009:
Okay so I've finally committed to something! My weight has been fluctuating between 138-145 since I got to college. It has been scaring me lingering in the higher end of that range lately and I feel like I have become much too careless with my eating. Not good!

Okay, so by the grace of God, I came across Dr. Simeons Pounds and Inches and the HCG diet. It sounds like its EXACTLY what I need. I ordered my HCH and will be picking up a foodscale as soon as exams are over. I will be starting my first HHCG drops/load days Decemebr 9 + December 10. Then I will go to the HHCG + VLCD diet for 45 days. I am hoping I will be able to get most of the weight off with just one round but if not I am willing to do a second. I will try to update my blog everyday with my HHCG progress.

Update: Its February 5, 2010 and NOW I am officially starting the hHCG diet. Today is my 2nd loading day. I am looking forward to the next 40 days and am hoping to relearn healthy eating habits and mostly learn how to use someting other than food to deal with lifes daily stressors.

I am still stuck on the weight roller coaster. This morning my weight was 146. So still stuck in the same stupid fluctuating weight range. I ave started to realize lately that I really need to change my habits and the way I think about food to be able to get this weight off. I am bulimic and have been struggling with a binge/purge cycle. I tried to kill myself 3 weeks ago by overdosing. I landed myself in the ICU for 3 days and then was committed to a psych ward (by court order) for 2 weeks. Since I have been back home (less than a week now) I havent purge once, so thats a step in the right direction. I have binged though, almost everyday and if it doesnt stop soon I will either continue to gain weight, or start purging again.

So I am hoping to find a way to retrain my brain to think about food in a healthier more balanced way and find some peace with my body.
