Once upon a time, there was a girl named Jillian. She was a bit of a foodie, and loved to cook. She also liked spending time on the computer and hanging out with her friends... usually at a restaurant. When it was time to celebrate something-- a birthday, an important event, or something great that happened-- she would round up people and go out to eat.
This made Jillian gain a whole bunch of weight in a short amount of time, and made her look not very attractive. Her health also suffered; she would get out of breath easily, her joints ached, and her cholesterol levels got really high. She decided that 27 was too young to feel that way, and that if she wanted to be able to keep doing things she loved, she needed to take better care of herself.

My Program:
Exercise as often as possible--walk, dance, keep moving!

Personal Information:
I'm 28, from Peoria, Illinois. I'm a librarian, and I work downtown. I'm an Irish dancer, and I love doing community theatre. I also love to cook and have people over to feed.

Other Information:
I'm a big reader, and I also write my own fiction.
My main genres are fantasy and historical fiction, but I recently finished the first book in a mystery series. I like watching movies, and will give nearly anything a test.
I'm also heavily involved in local community theatre, so if I disappear for a couple days, that's why!

    thanks! Yeah I didn't go too far (or really even too far astray in the diet), but it was enough for me to go HRM. That isn't a good idea is it! So here's hoping Thursday night I am ready and armed to get back into the ballet groove. Kick some turkey butt! Etc.! It looks like you're doing your own butt kicking too! Go You!!

    BWAH! That's totally the DVD I bought to go with the barre (shakes fist at Amazon for being so good with impulse buying badness!) - OBVIOUSLY if it made you cry you get it again! Obviously!

    I am looking forward to the moment that the boyfriend sees me in legwarmers and then asks me if the 80's called looking for their style. It will be awesome.
