I have an eating disorder. There, I said it. I admited that to myself first, my husband second and my doctor third. My eating disorder is binge eating. A newly recognized form of eating disorder. Everything is under control now and I am working on the emotional stuff. I am starting back SPARK slowly I think the community is second to none! Please read my blogs as I will try to explain my therapy and my issues I go through.

I started SPARK last year and was doing well until something happened. Something small but it started a chain reaction. The summer was winding down and my pool closed. I love to swim and so I fell into a depression. How strange it is that one thing can do so much damage. I came to a realization through failing health and falling motivation. I can't do this alone. I need help. I now have a team of doctors that are helping me to control some issues. My GP found that I have diabetes and high cholesterol and high blood pressure. My thyroid is also not working as well as it should be. I had an abnormal cervical exam that turned out to be okay after a biopsy. Thanks to my doctors I am on road to better health.

I have been a yo-yo dieter all of my life, I have dealt with being overweight since a very young age and it's my time now! I feel like it is time now to heal old wounds and start fresh. The most weight I have ever lost would be 60 pounds and I was so proud but guess what, I put it back more! I have over 100 plus pounds to lose but I feel like I am in a good mind set to accomplish my goals. A journey of a 1,000 miles starts with a single step right?

Personal Information:
I am 32 years old, married with no kids. I am an army brat and have lived all over the US and overseas. Now, I live near downtown Decatur, GA...not far from Atlanta. ANYONE in the ATL area want to buddy up let me know!!
