    Hey Lance... thanks for the comment...! I haven't been as diligent with keeping up with people as I was in the past - so from time to time a good slap on the side of the head seems to work out nicely for me...!

    My program overall is still on track - I'm happy with where I'm at... still a pretty long way to go - but today (Tuesday) is my weigh in day... I'm at 79.6 lbs total lost...

    With losing that much weight - I have a lot of people asking me 'how'd you do it' as you could imagine - so that helps keep me motivated - talking with people about sparkpeople and keeping myself accountable to my pages here!
    Today I had one of the upper managers in my company approach me - when nobody else was around... to talk to me about how I've done it so far... so that was neat for me.

    All in all - my attitude has really, really changed... when you have 100+ lbs to lose - I no longer have a 'goal' weight really - I no longer think about a certain event down the road... I'm just going to take it one day at a time.. today is a new day... with its own issues and problems at work - so I'm going to do everything I can to eat right - and maybe exercise a bit... I've had this mindset now for a few months - and its really helped...
    I can't help yesterday - I can't manage tomorrow...but I sure can conquer today...!

    Even my Dr. was impressed... he's halved my bloodpressure medication 2x now.... (50% cuts twice now) - so that has been a REAL neat thing...

    What about you.... you have less weight to lose than I do... what's up in your diet world?

    Yes, we can make improvements that don't have to be horrible sacrifices and lose the weight. I've gotten rid of 35# in 8 months which doesn't seem like much, but the previous year I lost SQUAWK. emoticon My Number One Sparkpeople goal has always been to NEVER EVER GAIN BACK A SINGLE POUND ONCE I HAVE LOST IT. So, I did that with each pound and MAINTAINED as I went down the scale, telling myself like now "I WILL NEVER WEIGH IN THE 180's EVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE." I mean that. It has been so hard to lose, but I don't care how long it takes, I will get it off and I will NOT gain it back. That comes from signing in every single day and logging EVERYTHING I eat. The Saturday before my dd, Maggie came back from Spain, I ate 5200 calories from grazing. BUT, I logged every one of them, and KNEW what I was doing. I even wrote about it in my BLOG. So, it wasn't something I kept up, so that I'll gain back 20 Pounds. I'm back on track now and she's home safely.
