Since running my first marathon 9 months ago, I got lazy. Really lazy. Like gained almost 20 lbs lazy. So this year, since i got engaged, I have put TWO marathons on my calendar before the wedding and well...this is how i plan to track my workouts. I figure tracking? Makes me accountable.

I run and swim regularly, I find it fascinating that my body once ran 26.2 miles and honestly? I can't wait to do it again. When the body is pushed to limits that one doesn't regularly endure, it's amazing how important your mentality is to keep going.

So now, to finish my races and to look good in a wedding gown. I will NOT be a size 10 at the mere height of 5'2"...thats just...unacceptable for me. So here's to running two marathons, dropping 20 lbs and getting back to a size 2. Hooray!

Other than running and such? I enjoy writing, reading, trashy television, and cooking.

Fitness Minutes: 2,010

My Goals:
* Run Hartford Marathon in 5:30:00 (a full hour and a half off MCM 07)

* Lose 20 lbs.

* Finish VT City Marathon in 5/09 in under 5:00:00

* Qualify for Boston Marathon running a half marathon next summer

My Program:
*Running 3 days/week - 2 3-5 mile runs, and one long run each week

* Swimming/weight training 2 days/week

I live in DC with my fiancé and our 1 1/2 year old beagle mix. I work for a nonprofit in Virginia and someday? I want to write the next great american novel. HA!
