I'm a mom and I need to start taking care of myself to take care of my daughter. ~*~*~*~*~ Goal: get myself back down to 125 pounds and to help me get there I will walk at least 10,000 steps daily and try to limit my junk food intake. One thing I need to work on ia cardio and strength training.

My Program:
Everything has to be in moderation........ If i want something sweet, i'll have a piece of chocolate instead of a bar. I've tried to substitute my whites with whole grains. But not white rice because i just can't! Eat a little more veggies each day and keep within my calorie count. OH and try to fit in ANY cardio/strength whenever i can... I do have a busy schedule.

I know if i just keep going eventually i'll get there...

I'm from New Westminster, BC Canada. I'm 33 years old. I work for a local municipality in the Development Planning Division.

    Everything is good! Have been working out with a personal trainer doing kettlebells for the last couple of months which is fun. Am now experimenting with my diet trying to figure out something new as it's not quite working for me. I was diagnosed a while ago with hyperthyroidism and am on medication to keep that under control. I think it may be messing with my metabolism! Ugh!

    How are you doing with your fitness/diet? All going well?

    Hi Sylvia, thank you for your comment on my blog! I see you started into this year with fresh energy as well. It's wonderful to have you as a "walking partner" even if it's just a virtual competition on Fitbit. You do walk a lot and you motivate me hugely! Have a great and successful 2015!

    Hi! How's everything going? Sorry about the late reply. I've been finishing school and moving and it's been hectic! I studied history of art! It was amazing and fun but went by super quickly. I am back in Canada for a little while now visiting family before starting work. Love living in London but not sure where I will end up! London is incredibly fun and exciting though. There is always something to do and see. You should definitely try to visit your friend next year!

    I've been trying to go by measurements instead of weight and it's been working for me! I feel like weight fluctuates too much to give me an accurate idea of where I'm at.
