APRIL 2015
I feel like I need to mix things up a bit. My hips are needing to change up the cardio from running. I think the Blue Ridge Marathon - Half will be my last. I need to find another focus. I just feel it talks up so much time training that I miss out on other things and have been having problems with my hips once I go over 6 - 7 miles.

Hi, my name is Lorrie, I live in SW Virginia.

Since September 07 I have lost 23 lbs! It took me 8 long months. I did Weight Watchers and joined the Biggest Loser contest at my Y. My trainer recommended this site for logging calories.
Now I am just trying stay at my goal. I am continuing to work out 5-6 days a week and focus on what I eat not just eat mindlessly. I want to improve my fitness and health.

I started running in Sept. 08 to help lower my blood pressure. Had tried chaning my diet and supplements, it didn't work. So I wanted to up my cardio. It has definatly helped. NO meds for me.

At the end of the day I want to say I have lived a good day and pushed myself as far as I can. I want to continue to use this site to help me stay focused and learn new things abouth staying healthy. This year 2010 I also want to take advantage of making "spark friends" .

Starting 4/20 - going to try Pure Barre.

    Hi there ~ sorry it has taken me this long to get back to you ~ I have been absent fr/ SP for awhile and it might be that way for another week or so. Busy to the max degree ~ like all of us.

    P90X? I love it - I have some fav dvd's and I can do most moves - or if not I can do a moderated version but always keep up in reps. The time flys by and I burn some major calories and am seeing good results. I am even thinking of changing my sp name to Tiney_Hiney - LOL, no I am not. But it really works that great !
