7/25/16 update-
Just turned 47. Man, that 5 years has made such a difference. I am still running around with my twins for their schedules (sports and music lessons) but I make time for myself every day to do something healthy. I finally feel as if I am recovered from my complete ACL tear. Some days are better than others. I still make some excuses when I don't want to do something but my DH loves the physical and mental changes he has seen and is very encouraging! After finally having some medical issues taken care of I am starting to feel better every week and can push myself further. Although I don't track on SP as much as I should I am on the right track.

I had made excuse after excuse that the weight just was going to be what it was because I was too busy to change it...little did I realize that at age 42 it's REALLY hard to make it "disappear", you have to do something about it!!Gotta get away from being the "Queen of Excuses" and focus on being strong and fit. I used to be skinny and athletic, ate whatever I wanted with no repercussions until I hit my 20's-now just feel overweight, sluggish and not "myself". Need to get back to that old feeling for me and my family.
I need to bust my excuses of:
I don't have time. (What else DO I have?)
I'm too tired. (Maybe exercise gives you energy!)
I'm busy with the kids. (Modify it so we all can participate!)
I need to study. (so work the time in-get organized!)

I can't let anything stop me except for me. And I need to do a better job in taking care of myself. I have confidence, know how and attitude-I need to use it for good and STOP MAKING EXCUSES!!

My Goals:
7/25/16-New goals are to be functionally fit. Continue pushing at Crossfit to continue the loss in size (although not necessarily in pounds which is fine) that I have seen for the limited time I am there. Also to challenge myself every day.

My Program:
As I got older I decided I don't like running like I learned to earlier. Now going to Crossfit (not as often as I should) but getting in DAILY walks for 2-5 miles nightly with my girlfriends. Sometimes I even run the hill. My goal is functional fitness.

    Thx for stopping by my blog! Yep...LOVE my Spinning class...however: yesterday was my 1st time passing on Spinning as I could get out on the road with my bike: that ALWAYS trumps Spinning...lol!

    Thanks for the compliment :). I'm taking my page offline because I find myself sitting on here reading and talking to people more than exerising. It worked well when I didn't have a job because I had all day to exercise, but now that I'm working I have to use my extra time exercising and not "social" sparking. :) Sunday is my off day for everything (except church) so I'll do everything I use to do then. :)
